Again we're proud to have been chosen to showcase Ballarat Miners First Nations jerseys to acknowledge NAIDOC week ’22.
Designed by Wadawurrung Traditional Owner Billy-Jay O’Toole, the uniform design tells the story of caring for water and Country together. Based on his artwork, Managing Country Together, the design was originally created for Central Highlands Water’s Reconciliation Action Plan.
Following the Indigenous Round, the uniforms will be auctioned online with proceeds going towards the continued support of the Ballarat Miners Aboriginal programs.
We can’t wait to see them in action for Saturday night’s games!

We're so proud to have been chosen to showcase Basketball Ballarat city jerseys!
Designed by Sovereign Hill the jerseys aim to highlight our iconic Ballarat features, marrying our past, present and future.
What makes these jerseys so special is that once the season is over for the Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners and Selkirk Ballarat Rush, the jerseys are auctioned off for charity with the proceeds going to Make-A-Wish Australia
Amira Willingham of Hotondo Homes said, “These jerseys not only represent the Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners and the Selkirk Ballarat Rush but everything that our town stands for, support, collaboration, and togetherness.”
We couldn't agree more!
We’re so proud to have been able to showcase Basketball Ballarat Indigenous Round jerseys to observe NAIDOC Week for the Miners and Rush teams.
NAIDOC’s theme for this year is Heal Country.
Designed by Jayden Lillyst, the jersey features ‘Bala Arat’ which is the Wadawaurring wording for ‘Resting Place’ and demonstrates the significance of the area being a stopping place for people.
Jayden Lillyst says, "These are all things that point to health, our art keeps us healthy, our country keeps us healthy and sport keeps us healthy in mind, body and soul. Steps like this from sporting organisations help that on a community level."
