Dear friends. Most of you know the H U G E journey I have been on over the past 4 years and especially the last year, to gather over 400 books and send them to my dear friend, Madhumita Das in Bengaluru, India to share with the students at St Alphonsus College and the many other children that will benefit.

If you have the space in your budget, 5 minutes to do it and the desire to a small part of this big vision, please donate to the Arts Nexus Gift Fund BSB # 633 000 Account # 131 042 830

We have a target we need to reach to be sure that all the costs are covered. Madhumita is also continuing the program for the next six months to go to the school and support the students and their community to engage with the Collection and learn more about who we are in Australia.

Thank you to everyone that has shown their support so far. Over 30 people have donated books, money, time and energy to making this happen. You know who you are.

Oh my. I have just had the greatest news. 3 years in the making, 12 months logistics and dealings with customs, 30 people and almost $3k AUD later, 400 books have arrived to a school in Bangalore. The Australian Collection will be available to students and community. So proud of our team. Thank you to everyone involved. Full acknowledgements to come
