2AD

1134 2AD is based in Armidale on the New England Highway halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, within easy reach of Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. The area is surrounded by World Heritage National Parks, several spectacular waterfalls and plentiful flora and fauna. Armidale is part of the New England known around the world for it's super fine wool, fat lambs and cattle, plus the headquarters for

many cattle breed societies. Our broadcast licensed area's cover Walcha, Uralla, Guyra and Armidale. Our 2AD format is targeted to the 40's and over population mixing talk back, including John Laws as well as easy listening music from the 60's to 90's predominantly. 2AD's first broadcast was on February 5th 1936 with a potential listening audience of around 42,000 people.
