Congratulations to Oliver McKay, successful applicant for our $1000 Junior Personal Development Grant this year! Ollie is using the money to travel to Adelaide next year to attend Science Alive . We do not get as much access to science-related activities in Central Australia. That is why our branch loves to support initiatives like this. It will provide Ollie an opportunity to extend his already impressive science knowledge. He may also be able to share some of his findings with other ASSOA students.
Ollie certainly shows his passion for science in his application video. We canโt wait to hear how your trip goes Ollie!
The Junior Personal Development Grant is awarded annually and provides up to $1000 to assist with costs associated for a person aged 8-15 to attend an education-based seminar, course, or activity of their choice.
Well thatโs a wrap for the 2023 ICPA Federal Conference what a great effort of getting all our motions over the line either by it being carried or deemed covered. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend and represent our branch proudly โค๏ธ
Thank you to ICPA NT for successfully hosting this great event and congratulations to all branches on taking the time to come and represent your branches members.
As my first Federal Conference it has been an inspiration to meet so many people that are so passionate and dedicated to making sure all our geographically isolated and remote children have a voice.
Thank you to all that attended the Playgroup yesterday!! It great to see many faces we knew and many more new faces. The kids had such an amazing time and can not wait for the next one that to be held at the Kulgera Motorkhana next month!! An amazing 21 kids showed up to spend the day playing games, music, singing and crafting. This time is so essential to the early learning of our isolated and remote kids.
If you are interested in hosting one of these playgroups at your place then please don't hesitate to get into contact with us.
