Documentaries make a difference
We donât just make films; we open minds, provoke thought and give people a voice. Whether itâs turning the lens to capture a narrative or helping to find the words, we create environments where stories can be told.
We're committed to compelling stories that have the potential to drive social change. Born out of a desire to demonstrate solutions to some of our most pressing global problems through film and interactive multimedia, our work is governed by a belief that documentaries have the power to change perceptions, mobilise support and inspire action.
Through our work we are able to carve out a moment of silence so that real stories can be heard.

We're so incredibly happy to see the wonderful Tjitjiku Tjukurpa project finally released to the world !
Tjitji, in Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara, means child/children.
Tjukurpa (in Pitjantjatjara) is story.
This is the story of Kungkarankalpa (The Seven Sisters) - the children version.
These stories, passed down from countless generations, are embedded in culture and used to teach social morals. Stories have different 'layers' and those layers are revealed as children grow or as people demonstrate their maturity to take on the learnings.
It's always such an honour to be in the presence of Anangu elders and senior cultural custodians and a privilege to be able to capture their stories on film.
Working in collaboration with Carclew and Leeann Buckskin, we helped bring this multimedia resource to life and it was one truly amazing journey. Thank you to creative producer Lara Damiani who was on board from day one till the end and all of our wonderful Think Films team including Millie Brown, Grant Beed, Jonathan Baker, Russell Alexander, Catalina Moller, Danny Phillips, Toby Feakin for all your work on this project.
Great to be part of Carclewâs celebration of 50 great years of indigenous arts programming. Particularly humbled to be recognized for our efforts in helping to pull together the Tjitjiku Tjukurpa project - a milultimedia website for children and young people about the Seven sisters Dreaming.
We know no borders!
Did you know that our experience and work extends well beyond the beautiful lands of the various traditional owners of Australia to places such as the Solomon Islands đžđ§, Bougainville, Tibet, India đźđł Malaysia đČđŸ , Vietnam đ»đł Cambodia đ°đ and more!
Interestingly, there are no flag emojiâs for Bougainville or Tibet âŠ.. đ€ but we did learn the other day that AustraliaPost are now making traditional place names part of mailing addresses.
Excellent work Australia Post !

We were excited to by the recognition of social enterprises as "one of the largest movements of our time" in a new report by the British Council and Social Enterprise UK.
For those unfamiliar with this space, our friends South Australian Social Enterprise Council (SASEC) define a social enterprise as entities and organisations that are led by an economic, social, cultural or environmental mission consistent with a public or community benefit, that trade to fulfill their mission, derive a substantial portion of their income from trade, and reinvest the majority of their profit/surplus if any, in the fulfillment of their mission.
Social enterprise is about commercially viable businesses generating income and creating jobs to respond to entrenched social or environmental issues.
Today many social enterprises are intentionally designed to respond to the wicked problems and inequities that are a consequence of âbusiness as usualâ."
And we're proud to say we are South Australia's only purpose-driven production studio and social enterprise !
Thank you Lara Damiani for staying true to your vision and meeting the challenges to get us where we are today.
