DARK OZ is the publisher of DECAY and Retro Sci-Fi Tales - Australian anthology comic books, featuring over 150 creators so far. ators and new emerging talents. Many of Australia's top creators have worked on these comics, along with a few international guests too. DECAY often features stories of the sexy Vampire "Sisters" and zombie stories set in the "OZ ZOMBIE" universe. But there are many other horror tales in every genre you can imagine. All stories in DECAY are short self-contained one-off stories, meaning you can enjoy reading any issue alone, while Retro Sci-Fi Tales now has a couple ongoing stories. At the St Clair Recreation Centre, 109 Woodville Rd, Woodville, SA

Open from 10am (9am for 'Early Bird' ticket holders) to 3:30pm - tickets available at the door.
Dozens and dozens and DOZENS of stall holders with something for everyone - classic and vintage super cool toys and collectables, up to the newest releases, COMIC BOOKS, local creators and much much more.

ADELAIDE COMIC AND TOY FAIR - this Sunday 13-April-2025

DARK OZ will be there (again, as ALWAYS) with ALL Dark Oz comics 'DECAY', 'Retro Sci-Fi Tales' and more...
..as well as LOTS of new (old) LaserDiscs, especially the much sought after HORROR titles! (LaserDiscs are NOT a Dark Oz product but every dollar raised goes back into funding the creation of more DARK OZ comics). And if they don't sell they'll happily be staying in my own private collection, ha ha.

This is absolutely one of the BEST shows of the year, I wouldn't miss it. So many amazing stall holders, shops and private sellers/collections, comics, toys, games, collectables, and lots of local creators in Artists Alley.

Cosplay & Comics - photos from the DARK OZ tables at an amazing weekend at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming in Melbourne - 29-30 March 2025

Wish I'd got more Cosplay photos, there were so many there, but it's difficult when you're busy working behind the tables.

Overall it was a fantastic weekend, I can't wait for the massive Sydney Supanova in June.

Two NEW products for this weekend at Supanova in Melbourne - the DARK OZ Catalogue #1 (March 2025) and the special 'blank cover' 'D' variants of Retro Sci-Fi Tales #12

NOTE - the 'Catalogue' was made as a digital PDF (sent FREE to Kickstarter backers of Retro Sci-Fi Tales #12) and for sale for only $5 to anyone who wants it - contact me anytime.
There was no intent to produce a printed version, other than for our own DARK OZ archives. But a few people expressed interest in buying one ($40 plus postage) so I printed a few extra in case of last minute sales or at conventions. NOTE - print qty is only 40 copies - very limited edition, as ten copies are kept for DARK OZ archives and some others are sold already.

The 'blank covers' are something that I will comission DARK OZ artists to draw on, and some might then be offered for sale (your chance to own a one-off piece of original art). The 'D' (blank cover) variants also contain 4 extra pages featuring ALL of the other covers (A, B & C).

This weekend - 29-30 March 2025 - DARK OZ will be at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming in Melbourne (at the Showgrounds) - open from 10am to 6pm both days.

Find DARK OZ as a 'Comic Book Supastar Guest' at table 20 in Artists Alley.
We have the latest 'Retro Sci-Fi Tales #12', a handful of the ALL-NEW 'DARK OZ Catalogue 2025', even a few of the 'blank cover' variants of Retro #12 (cover 'D'), plus all issues of DECAY, Retro Sci-Fi Tales, the movie magazines, STING on DVD, postersN (A3 sets, and a few A1s) and much more.

REMEMBER - Supanova is so big that it's split over two huge buildings in the Showgrounds - 'Artists Alley' is in the upper building (next to the 'Pie in the Sky').

Also this Friday night (28-March) DARK OZ will have a pop-up shop in the foyer of the Palace Nova Cinemas for the special 'Bonfire Horror Club' screening of the 1990 cult classic 'Tremors'.

Adelaide Chrysler Festival - on this weekend - 22-23 March 2025

TONIGHT is the Mopar Mega Cruise, meeting at Bunnings Mile End from 5:00pm, cruising out around 6:30pm, and winding to Bunnings at Parafield - you'll see hundreds of awesome Chrysler cars there.

SUNDAY 23-March - the Adelaide Chrysler Festival Show n Shine, Swap Meet and more - FREE entry, Gaza Oval (corner of North East Rd and O G Road) - this is a massive event, so many awesome cars and some great stuff to buy.

You've all seen the yellow Chrysler Valiant in DARK OZ comic books over the years, and it's been at the Chrysler Festival many times over the years too. It won't be at the show tomorrow, but you might see one of the other DARK OZ Chrysler cars on the cruise tonight...

This will be the SAME LINK when the Kickstarter does go live (in a few months time). Clicking the link and clicking 'Notify me on launch' gets you to follow the page (it does NOT lock you in to purchasing anything) so that whenever it does go live you will be notified immediately and then have the chance to view the page and consider backing the comic.

Please also help spread the word and share the link. We need to get more 'followers' before we can go live (it will be mid to late 2025 before it goes live, with the comic tentatively scheduled for Nov-Dec 2025 release).
