Radio Italiana 531 Celebrating Italian Music, Language & Culture in Australia for 50 years! You can find us at Unit 3, 215 Port Road, Hindmarsh.

Radio Italiana 531 is owned and operated by members & volunteers of the South Australian Italian community and enjoys the active support of a large number of sponsors together with over 400 members, Clubs and Associations. Our listeners are loyal and passionate and come mostly from the almost 100,000 South Australians of Italian heritage. Radio Italiana 531 covers metropolitan and most regional ar

eas of South Australia via the 531am signal, and there is an ever growing audience via our digital platforms such as our app, online streaming via our website and TuneIn. Radio Italiana 531 prides itself on its volunteers, announcers, quality of production and variety of music. This mix of expertise reflects in the most professional manner, delivering the needs and wants of our diverse listening audience and ultimately promoting our language, culture and traditions. We have a strong and loyal base of over 100 volunteers, ranging from announcers, console operators, administrative staff as well as a Management Committee and other sub-committees. All decisions regarding the long term vision, sustainability and future of the Station are made by its members via an elected Management Committee. Radio Italiana 531 employs several key staff, including a General and Sales Manager, Production Manager, Accounts and Administration Officer.

WOW. What a roller coaster of emotions once again for the week of absolute delirium and crazyness we lived in Sanremo. More than 30 hours of broadcast in one week, countless social media contents with lots more to come and probably less than 20 hours of sleep in one week..a wild ride 😍

Radio Italiana 531, the ONLY Australian media present here once again and recognised by Rai in the official press conference Festival di Sanremo Sanremo 2025: The Festival of the Foreign Press The Show Told Around the World Once again this year, the international press has a strong presence at the Festival, sharing the event in many different languages, with special attention to Italians living abroad. For Sanremo’s 75th edition, between the Press Room at the Ariston Roof and the “Lucio Dalla” Press Room, there are 44 media outlets, including 20 radio stations and 4 television networks, all dedicated to covering the most important week in Italian music. More than 80 accredited journalists from radio, television, print, and online media are attending. The coverage spans from European outlets like Le Monde to those from South America—Chile and Argentina—as well as Australia, and even reporters from the Transcaucasian state of Georgia.
