Making a movie is like going to war. You wonder why you do it and you are never sure of the outcome. It is also a miracle if all goes as planned and we will be looking for that miracle as we head into our next movie. We are running auditions in the next couple of weeks and are looking for the following. 1 Coloured Woman of around 50 years of age to play a judge. 3 White guys between the age of 40 and 52 to play "bad guys" with eccentric and interesting faces. Two guys who could play young junkies around 20-25 years old. Two white guys who run a padstal but have ambitions to be singers aged 30 -35. 100 on/off rad bikers to meet in Tankwa Karoo. We are 89 days away from starting to shoot our new movie, Snaaks Genoeg. Have just received email from Casper de Vries who says in his words the script "is very good". Barry Hilton likes the idea as well and we hope to have him and Mark Banks and John Vlismas in on this. Negotiations are in progress. Crowd fund about to begin. Which one to use??

Looking for an energetic, experienced 1ST ASSISTANT DIRECTOR with a passion for original Indie films.
We are shooting our 2nd Independent Film in August 2015 and require an experienced 1st Assistant Director to commence a 5 month contract asap (or 1st June).
We are based in Durbanville and start shooting in August 2015 in the Northern Cape.
The candidate should be based in the Northern Suburbs and have a good understanding of the Afrikaans language.
