এ শহর ছেড়ে…. শুধু একটি গান নয়। এক অসম্ভব সুন্দর পংতিমালা। Rayhan Mahbub খুব সুন্দর করে অনুভূতিগুলো প্রকাশ করেছেন। কথাগুলো যেন বিষণ্ণতা, নিঃসঙ্গতা আর প্রিয় শহর ছেড়ে যাওয়ার ব্যথা ভরিয়ে দিয়েছে। একা থাকার হাহাকার, প্রকৃতির বিবর্ণতা, এবং ভালবাসার ফুরিয়ে যাওয়া—প্রতিটি লাইন যেন এক বেদনার সুরে বাঁধা। এমন লেখাগুলো শহরের সাথে গড়ে ওঠা আবেগ আর স্মৃতির গভীরতা তুলে ধরে। মানুষের জীবনযাপন, ভালোবাসা, স্বপ্ন এবং বিচ্ছেদ—সবকিছু মিলে যেন এক আত্মার কথা বলে। মনে হয়, কিছু কিছু জিনিস ফেলে আসা ছাড়া আর কোনো উপায় নেই।

১৯৪৮ সালে মোহাম্মদ আলী জিন্নাহ ঢাকায় এসে ঘোষনা দিলো “একমাত্র উর্দুই হবে পাকিস্তানের একমাত্র রাষ্ট্রভাষা”। সহ্য হলোনা বাংলার মানুষের। বুকের ভিতরের সিংহটা যেন জেগে উঠল সবার। মুসলমান, হিন্দু, বৌদ্ধ, খ্রীষ্টানে সেদিন কোন ভেদাভেদ থাকলোনা। প্রতিবাদে ফেটে পড়ল সমগ্র বাংলাদেশ। এরপর ১৯৫২ সালের ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারী সালাম, রফিক, জব্বার সহ ছাত্র, শ্রমিক, কৃষক সবাই নেমে পড়লো রাজপথে। শুরু হলো ভাষার জন্য ভিন্ন এক অদম্য লড়াই। সেই শুরু। সেইদিনেরই পথ অনুসরন করে ১৯৭১ সালে সালে শুরু হলো মুক্তিযুদ্ধ। অর্জন করলাম আমরা “বাংলাদেশ” নামে ছোট্ট একটা মাতৃভূমি। সেই ৫২’র ভাষা আন্দোলন আর ৭১’র মুক্তিযুদ্ধের জন্যই আজ আমরা বাংলা ভাষায় কথা বলতে পারছি, স্বাধীনভাবে চলতে ফিরতে পারছি।
নাজিম মাহমুদ রচিত ও সাধন সরকার সুরারোপিত ‘কৃষ্ণচূড়া আর রক্ত পলাশের, রঙীন জাল বুনে একুশে এসো আজ, শান্ত পায়ে পায়ে নতুন ফাল্গুনে। গানটি নতুন ভাবে আমাদের মাঝে নিয়ে এসেছেন সংগীত শিল্পী জাফরীন জলিল তিথি Jafreen Tethee . এই গানটি Loop Creations চিত্রায়িত করেছে।
