✨ A Day to Remember at the Multicultural Festival ✨

TQ Productions is truly honored by today’s achievements at the Multicultural Festival. For the first time in years, the Brazilian Association of South Australia was proudly represented on stage by a cast made up mostly of Brazilians. Joining them were our incredible community of students from the and professional artists from TQ Productions, showcasing diversity and unity in the most beautiful way.

It was inspiring to witness volunteers—some who had never danced before, let alone performed on stage—shine with such passion and joy. On behalf of our director, .tq , we’d like to extend heartfelt thanks to the for trusting us with this project. We’re equally grateful to every volunteer who gave their time and energy to make this performance so special.

This moment reminds us of the power of the arts to transform lives. Arts don’t just support our well-being—they connect us to our roots, educate others, and share the love for our culture. Brazil’s cultural richness is a gift, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to bring a little piece of it to South Australia, serving as both a cultural asset and a bridge to community health.

We remain committed to creating more unforgettable experiences like this, making them accessible and possible again and again. Thank you for celebrating with us—this is just the beginning! 💛💚

We are thrilled to announce that Flavio Perez, an accomplished Capoeira and percussion instructor from Argentina, will be joining us at the Mestizos Dance Festival! .perez.125 is the driving force behind Sambatuka, a percussion group that resonates with the soul of Brazil’s musical heritage.

Flavio will lead two engaging workshops:

1️⃣ Capoeira: Experience the dynamic Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. Flavio’s expertise will guide participants through the fundamental movements and rhythms of Capoeira, suitable for all skill levels.

2️⃣ Percussion: Dive into the vibrant world of Brazilian percussion. Flavio will teach traditional rhythms and techniques, offering a hands-on experience with instruments that are central to Brazilian music.

Both workshops are open to all levels, and beginners are warmly welcome.

We’re thrilled to welcome to the Mestizos Dance Festival! With decades of experience in the dance industry, Damaris has performed worldwide, specializing in Cuban folkloric and popular dance. Don’t miss the chance to learn from this incredible artist!

Damaris will lead two workshops—both open level, so everyone is welcome!

1️⃣ Afro-Cuban Yoruba Dance: This workshop delves into movements associated with the Orishas, deities of the Yoruba pantheon, characterized by fluid motions and expressive storytelling. Participants will learn to embody the essence of these spiritual dances, connecting deeply with Afro-Cuban heritage.
