In 1938, the Austrian composer Victor Urbancic and his Jewish wife, the poet and sculptor Melitta Grünbaum, had to leave the country. Together with their three children, they were able to emigrate to Iceland. At that time, they did not yet know that Iceland would remain their home until the end of their lives. Stephan Herzog’s documentary provides insights into the eventful history of the family.
