On October 30th, the day has finally arrived for us to present the new EP from thea & schtu. We’ve been big fans of their sound for a while, which makes us all the more excited that this EP has come together.

The two original tracks showcase the duo’s impressive range of musical styles. The title track, "Odyssee," is marked by a deep melody and signature synth elements, while the second track, "No, What?" stands out with its groovier touches, yet remains unmistakably true to the distinctive style of thea & schtu.

The originals are complemented by equally diverse remixes from our friends Laaar, Samaha, and Sydka. We’re very pleased with the result and would like to thank all the artists involved, as well as Haunted Water and Iorie for the mastering, and Kilian Van de Water for the striking artwork.

At the beginning of October, we are releasing an EP that we are especially excited about! After dazzling us with several remixes over the past few months, the time has come to introduce you to the debut EP from Laaar on our label, titled "Of Mind and Matter".

The two original tracks from our talented Israeli friend are a playful and dreamy journey, reminiscent of the driving yet mellow sound that first drew us to the world of downtempo. To complete the release, we've added two thrilling remixes from Deisen and Jonas Fasching, each bringing their own unique interpretation.

We'd like to express our deepest gratitude to all the amazing artists involved, as well as to our graphic designer Kilian Van de Water and mastering engineer Haunted Water.

It's that time again—early September marks the launch of our next compilation! We can hardly believe it ourselves, but it's already down.tape °9.

As always, we've worked hard to bring you a mix of emerging new artists alongside some seasoned veterans who have yet to be featured on our compilations. The soundscape spans from fresh, summery open-air vibes to driving beats perfect for the night, once again showcasing the incredible diversity of our favorite genre.

We are thrilled to present a true newcomer this August, who has instantly won us over with his playful, summery, and light sound. Please welcome Nilpferdmann to the stage!

His debut EP in the downtempo genre is titled "Komischer Vogel," and the two originals are perfect for swaying towards the sunset on a warm summer day. The EP is rounded off by two diverse remixes from Laaar and Seyde, each adding their own unique flair to the tracks.

The next artist in our podcast series has been a regular fixture in our party line-ups for nearly two years, consistently impressing us with her balanced sound and keen ear for the perfect tracks.

We're talking about Rakäthe, who, whether as part of BeYond Collective or on her own, regularly shakes up the dance floors in the downtempo scene. We are thrilled that she took the time to create a mix for us, and we hope you enjoy listening as much as we do!

After already releasing the second-ever EP on our label a few years ago, we are very delighted to now present the new album from our loyal companion Antaares, titled "Aquelarre."

It is packed with 7 summery tracks in the typically groovy, bouncy style of our charming Mexican friend.The tracks radiate a vibrant atmosphere, instantly putting the listener in a holiday mood, perfect for relaxed afternoons or lively nights. The album shines with its variety of sounds while clearly bearing the distinctive signature of Antaares.

The mastering, as always, was contributed by Haunted Water, and the graphic embellishment by Kilian Van De Water. We wish you a lot of joy listening to it.

Next in our podcast series, we are thrilled to welcome an absolute maestro and versatile talent of the downtempo scene. We are talking about none other than Iorie, who has been consistently delivering with a remarkable sensitivity for our beautiful genre over the years, not only through his own releases but also with his label Serafin Audio Imprint.

In his new mix for us, he once again showcases his musical diversity and presents us with facets of a slightly different, slower side. This set invites you to drift away and daydream, making it the perfect companion for the upcoming warm season. Enjoy!

We are excited to announce the release of bepo's "Biorhythm EP," arriving just in time for the festival season. It features a powerful blend of slow, pressing downtempo rhythms with a deep dive into electronic and industrial soundscapes. The fourth track, "Bouncehouse," also features characteristic vocals from the Hamburg-based duo "Mwaah."

Additionally, the EP includes a lively, summery remix by our friends Pulli & Chomba, adding an extra layer of sunny energy to the release.

As always, the excellent mastering comes from Haunted Water and the artwork was provided by Kilian Van De Water.

We're back with an absolute banger, and this time, we've got our buddies from the world's slowest airline in tow. We're of course talking about the universally beloved and celebrated producers, Air Horse One, who truly live up to their name with their sound.

The two original tracks take you on a bewildering journey into the land of Kuddelmuddel and have been expertly reinterpreted by NUAH, Rufus Rabatz, Esmaeili, and Augenstein and we couldn't be happier with the result.

As always, the release has been rounded off with a smooth mastering by Haunted Water and a cohesive visual accompaniment by Kilian Van De Water. Enjoy listening and drifting away towards the festival summer.

After having spun his way into our ears through numerous sets across various podcasts in recent years, we're delighted to welcome the equally energetic and affable Swiss artist Aka Tony, to our esteemed lineup.

While he never fails to surprise us with a colourful array of tracks, his distinctive sound always shines through clearly and unmistakably. When he's not commanding the decks himself, he enriches the scene with his podcast series Aka-tapes and Slomosensual and his event series "Down To Earth".

Get ready for the next 80 minutes of auditory bliss and settle in for a leisurely journey aboard the Aka Tony Express.

In early April, we have an exciting release coming up that we're eagerly anticipating. Our friends zhart & Seyde are dropping their debut EP titled "Dampflok."

After the two original tracks have been making rounds in various sets over the past months, the record is enriched with diverse remixes by thea & schtu, Planet Caravan and Kerosino, along with a reinterpretation by Seyde himself.

The artwork was as always provided by Kilian Van de Water and we thank Haunted Water for the mastering. We're thrilled with the outcome and hope you enjoy listening to it.

It's time for a new podcast once again, and this time we've got Andsn with us, a member of Fiasco and part of Knattern & Schnattern.

His motto is massive, bass-heavy, and bouncy, and his sets speak volumes. We're definitely looking forward to letting his set guide us towards spring, and we hope you have a great time listening.

After shining with individual tracks and remixes on our label in the past, it's now time for our buddy Joe Carl to release a complete EP with us.

His unmistakably slapping and pushing synth-heavy sound immediately catches the eye and once again forms the foundation of his two originals for this release. Equally impactful, the two remixers Katabtu and firewrks have imparted their personal touch to the tracks, smoothly rounding out the overall work.

As always, our pal Haunted Water took care of the mastering, and the artwork comes from the talented Kilian Van de Water. We hope you enjoy listening.
