Again, we had a load of superb singles on the show across the year but this list is for the albums I really loved. Life is always better with some Bluegrass in it!

2023 was another bumper year for Country music in all its forms, way too many top class releases to list. The Country Mile concentrates on the *proper* :-) side of things, so that is where my list will be aimed from.
There was an awful lot of singles and EPs released last year but this list is strictly albums.
If I played a track on the show, it meant I really liked it - so if I played an artist on the show, please take that as a recommendation of high quality!
Below, ( in comments ) I have listed twenty albums that I repeatedly went back to. Plus a selection of other recommended artists.

So it appears that my first proper edition of The Country Mile went out today, six years ago!
Now past 300 editions and luckily it's been heard by a LOT of people.

The Country Mile reaches show number 300 this week!
I had one trial run in June 2016, then a full launch in January 2017. The show wasn't always weekly and there has been a few small gaps but I've now made it to 300.

Thanks to everyone that has listened and supported TCM.
