On our label, "Postmanslove" Gwenifer Raymond has released "Three Deaths of Red Spectre" on Vinylpostcards. The track is accompanied by an artwork painted especially for this release by Austrian artist Horst Rainer. Sadly, it was one of his last masterpieces before he passed away. This release illustrates the unique interplay of musical and visual art on Vinylpostcards. ☯️

Did you know that the Austrian artist Horst Reiner exclusively painted the artwork only for the purpose of this release? Sadly it was one of his last masterpieces before he suddenly died. 🙁 We are still humbled to have had the opportunity to work with him!

How it all began - Part 3 🚀

Last time we gave you some insights into our pressing process. Today we focus on our special lathe cutter prototype, which we had to build just for the purpose of cutting the grooves at such a small radius (55 mm to 25 mm). We equipped the lathe cutter with a highly effcient pitch computer and a modded cutting head. As we are always striving for improvements we will soon announce our latest innovation! 😋

A business card? An album release? Infamous DJ Koze , founder of Pampa Records and an outspoken producer made the Vinylpostcard his own. By using it as his business card he triggers an instant wow effect. He featured his club banger "Pick Up" on the physical Vinylpostcard and added his album "knock knock" to the app.

Dancing after receiving such a business card is guaranteed!😊

How it all began - Part 2: 🚀

As we told you last time, it took us many years to find the right materials to make Vinlpostcard the way we do today.
The reason is that all materials and process parameters are interdependent. If you change one parameter, you have to adjust all the others accordingly. 😵‍💫
Finding the right combination to produce a durable and valuable set of postcard records was quite puzzling. But our founders managed to solve the puzzle and developed a process that has a cycle time of 35 seconds and uses only a fraction of the energy that a hot steam pressing plant normally consumes.

By the way: After we dug the VPC out of the snow, you could still play it. ❄️

Far away from masstourism in Lignano, we received this Vinylpostcard from our favourite Tyrolian rap crew Von Seiten der Gemeinde ✉️📬 They wrote it was a bit crowded at the beach, but they still loved it. 😜 VSDG released their hit "Lignano" on Vinylpostcards for their merch table. They were sold out within two concerts. 🤩
