• After a tense first half where Joao Felix scored the opening goal, the Vatreni equalized with Gvardiol’s first goal of the tournament to secure 2nd place in Group A1.
• Dalić started with his classic 3-5-2 before surrendering to his old 4-2-3-1 in the second half.
• Perišić was booed by Hajduk fans at Poljud.
• Budimir and Kramarić hit the post.
• Croatia will play against Germany, France, or Spain in quarterfinals.

[NATIONSLEAGUE] A handicapped Croatia couldn’t hold the Scottish wrath.

• The Israeli referee decided to show a second yellow card to Petar Sučić despite not being necessary and crippled the Vatreni’s strategy in the Second Half.
• Even a man up, Scotland didn’t hurt a debutant Dominik Kotarski up until the final minutes of the night, when substitute John McGinn scored from the penalty spot to give his nation the 3 points.
• Dalić has more problems ahead of Portugal, as Kristijan Jakić had to be subbed after a knee injury.
• The only way for Croatia to not qualify for Quarter Finals is an scenario where the Vatreni lose and Scotland wins by more goals, reducing the goal difference between each other.

• After 2 consecutive defeats, Čabraja finally smiled as Lokomotiva defeated Šibenik with forcefulness.
• Duje Čop (former Narančasti), Art Smakaj and Dušan Vuković were the scorers, while Goričan and Art himself assist them.
• Lokomotiva leaves Slaven last, 3 points above them, while Šibenik is on a 9 consecutive winless matches.

[CHAMPIONSLEAGUE] Dinamo went to Bratislava and triumphed.

• The Plavi continued with their successful European campaign and got their 2nd away win and 3rd unbeaten match in total.
• Despite an early lead goal to the home side, the Slovakians couldn’t stop the Croatian side from turn the tides in their favor.
• Sandro Kulenović scored his first brace for Dinamo in the League / Group Stage. Petar Sučić’s header and Dario Špikić completed the scoresheet.
• Bjelica decided to lunch the match with an offensive lineup, and given Sloven’s previous history of poor defense, it was an intelligent move from the coach.
• Marko Pjaca also made a brace, but of assists.
• Dinamo sits comfort in 16th place.

[STANDINGS] Hajduk finally lost.

• After 11 Rounds of unbeaten success, the Bili find its reaper in the form of Varaždin. They still hold 1st place, but now on a thinner margin as both Rijeka and Dinamo won their commitments.
• For the first time since the beginning of the season, Slaven leaves relegation! They managed to surpass Lokomotiva at Kranjčevićeva and in the process, their first away win of the league.

[REVIEW] Dinamo destroyed Šibenik and climbs to 2nd place.

• It was rock and roll for Dinamo as Kulenović dropped another brace while Sučić and Mbuku completed the scoresheet. Nathanaël netting his first for the Plavi.
• Bjelica managed to complete dominate the Narančasti with many players not usually present in the Starting XI and gave them rest time ahead of Champions League.
• Agyemang fouled Ademi inside the box and committed penalty, but Arijan had to be substituted by Kačavenda signalizing that the injury could be greater for the captain.
• Lukas went on to assist both 2nd Half goals.
• Šibenik is now winless since Round 4 (3 draws, 5 defeats) while Dinamo recovered from their defeat at Maksimir against Osijek last weekend.

[FIXTURE] Derby della Učka on Sunday, Dinamo today.

• Round 12 begins with Šibenik welcoming Dinamo, the Narančasti hold a negative record and want to improve as relegation starts to manifest.
• On Saturday, Slaven travels to Zagreb to face Lokomotiva at Kranjčevićeva! The Lokosi begun the season with bad pace and they sit 9th just 3 points above this weekend rivals.
• Osijek defeated the Plavi last weekend and now they receive Gorica at Opus Arena hoping to escalate towards 4th place.
• Derby della Učka opens the Sunday games! After 4 consecutive draws, Rijeka has to start winning at some point if they want to chase Hajduk.
• The Bili have the difficult task of travelling North and challenge a tough Varaždin, that must win to hold their Conference League place.

[STANDINGS] Another amazing weekend for Hajduk, surprise result at Maksimir.

• What should have been an easy ride for Rijeka ended up being a hard challenge against Varaždin that at least gave them a point to keep fighting.
• Dinamo wished their happy triumph in Champions League translated to Maksimir, but Osijek demolished it and completed a turn around to equalize the Bumbari in points.
• A little set back wasn’t enough for Hajduk to crumble and took all 3 points versus Lokomotiva.
• Slaven couldn’t held the lead against Šibenik being one-man down and drew.
• Gorica won after 2 consecutive losses and surpassed their rivals Istra in the standings!

[REVIEW] Farmaceuti and Narančasti share points in an entertaining match.

• The first match of the Round gave us an exciting amount of goals as they equalize 2-2 at Kušek Apaš.
• Ivan Božić gave Šibenik an early lead before Ilija Nestorovski and Tomislav Božić turn the wave towards the home side, but Marin Prekodravac sealed the final score in a draw.
• Michael Agbekpornu received two yellow cards and was rightly sent off missing the final 15 minutes of the match.
• Šibenik enters their 7th winless game, while Slaven their 4th.

[FIXTURE] Round 11 is around the corner.

• A weakened Slaven welcomes another on a horrible form like Šibenik. The Farmaceuti are in serious need of a win to find some path outside relegation. The Narančasti’s present form never recovered from that majestic start and couldn’t win since late August.
• Leaders Hajduk host Čabraja’s Lokosi in a match that could decide the visitors fate in the league.
• Rijeka hasn’t won in the last 3 games while Varaždin wants to remain 4th in the standings.
• Osijek has a very difficult task as they must travel to Zagreb to face a happy Dinamo.
• Istra plays a nice football and wants to demonstrate it against a weak side like Gorica.

[CHAMPIONSLEAGUE] A marvelous Plavi defeats RB Salzburg in Austria.

• Despite a rough beginning, a “Bjelica-less” Dinamo defeated Red Bull Salzburg while being away to achieve the first win in the new format of Champions League.
• Sandro Kulenović and Bruno Petković (who is now the new goalscorer leader of Dinamo in all UEFA competitions) were the goleadores of the night.
• An amazing Stefan Ristovski assisted in both occasions to help his strikers score.
• Local keeper Schlager saw himself in a bad position when had to stop Sučić’s shot while being outside the box, ending in his red card from a really good referee like Makkelie.
• Dinamo seats inside the top 24 for the first time and can dream with an autumn Europe.

[STANDINGS] Spectacular results for Hajduk, as Dinamo and Rijeka draws.

The Bili managed to defeat Koprivnica’s defense and now leads the table 4 points above a weird Rijeka that suffered a common hard game in Kranjčevićeva. The Plavi almost loses in P**a and only managed to save a draw against a solid Istra.
Osijek and Varaždin were the other teams that earn 3 points while Šibenik gathers a poor 6th consecutive winless match in their bag.

[REVIEW] Lokomotiva and Rijeka gave us an amazing start of Round 10 with 4 goals!

• Fran Karačić’s first goal since his return gave the Lokosi the temporary equalizer before Duje Čop scored the turnaround goal for the locals. Stjepan Radeljić amazing “chilena” and Ivan Smolčić late goal end the match 2-2.
• Majstorović, Boune and Gojak printed their names in the sheet as assisters.
• VAR assisted Duje Strukan to give Lokomotiva the penalty that Duje netted.
• Čabraja must take some note about his defensive free kick strategy, as both Riječani goals came from them.
• A point that neither help Rijeka or Lokomotiva in their targets.

[FIXTURE] After the standings, these are the games of Round 10!

• Lokomotiva and Rijeka open the 2 lap of the tournament! Rijeka defeated Lokosi in Round 1 4-0 at Rujevica and now the Zagrebački side must host the 2nd place team.
• Šibenik opens Saturday against Osijek! The Narančasti started with too much power but now are suffering a big crisis that took out Carević from the dugout.
• Istra must face a difficult opponent as Dinamo approaches Aldo Drosina! The Zeleno-Žuti beat Osijek before the National Break and now can reach 4th place if the replicate the result.
• Hajduk climbed to the top of the league and they want to remain there as Slaven wants to get out of relegation.
• Varaždin amazing 1st lap sadly ended with 2 consecutive defeats against Osijek and Dinamo, now they welcome Gorica in the North of the country.

Hajduk are the new after their win in the Dalmatinski Derbi and took advantage of Rijeka’s draw against Slaven in Koprivnica. The Plavi tied with the Riječani after defeating Varaždin at Anđelko Herjavec while Istra and Lokomotiva won the remaining games versus Osijek and Gorica respectably

[NATIONSLEAGUE] Croatia played an incredible match against Poland that ended in a 3-3 draw.

• Goals from Borna Sosa and Dinamo’s duo Petar Sučić and Martin Baturina gave Croatia an early lead, but Poland’s response came from a comeback summited by Zielinski, Zalewski and Szymanski.
• It was a magnificent volley for Sosa’s 2nd goal for the Vatreni while Petar and Martin netted their First ever goal for the country.
• Livaković was sent off after a tackle against Lewandowski (it was more a yellow but I can understand the referee call). Labrović entered the pitch in favor of Ivušić.
• This draw, added to Scotland and Portugal 0-0, leaves the group in the same place as before.
• The young players Dalić has at his disposal are clearly the future of Croatia.
