Was Abraham, Moises and Jesus muslims?
ARAHAM the origin of the Israelites.
God to ➡️
Abraham to➡️
Abraham's son ISAAC(first born son of the covenant)
Genesis 17:19
God said, “No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name hIsaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
Isaac’s son to ➡️JACOB (was later on renamed 👉ISRAEL)
Genesis 32:28:
"Then the man said, 'Your name will no longer be Jacob, but ISRAEL, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.'”
12 sons of Israel:➡️12 tribes of Israel
Judah, Benjamin & Levi now called the modern Jews
Other sons were called the lost sheep of Israel.
Abram sacrificed his first born son from the covenant which was Isaac and not Ishmael
After sending away Hagar and Ishmael in the desert of ➡️Beersheba (today part of modern Israel), ARAHAM AND ISMAEL ONLY REUNITED WHEN ABRAHAM WAS DEAD.
Genesis 25:9
His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite,
But 600 years later the book of counterfeit which is the Quran says in:
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:125-129) recounts the STORY OF ABRAHAM AND ISHMAEL BUILDING THE KA'BAH in Mecca and praying for a righteous nation to come from their lineage.
MOISES TAUGHT THAT GOD CAN BE A FATHER.
Moises is also not a Muslim because he taught that God can be a father:
Exodus 4:22-23
God wants Moses to say to Pharaoh, “This is what the Lord says: Israel is my
FIRSTBORN SON, and I told you, 'Let my son go, so he may worship me'.
Deuteronomy 32:6 refers to God as the Father of Israel:
"Is this the way you repay the Lord, you foolish and unwise people? Is he not YOUR FATHER, your Creator, who made you and formed you?"
JESUS also was not a muslim
In the Quran, the concept of referring to Allah as "Father" is rejected and considered blasphemous, as it goes against the Islamic understanding of God's nature. One of the key verses that addresses this issue is Surah Al-Ikhlas (Chapter 112, Verses 1-4):
"Say, 'He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent.'" (Quran 112:1-4)
In Islam, Allah is believed to be utterly unique and transcendent, and He does not have offspring nor is He a father in any literal or metaphorical sense. The Quran strongly denies any familial relationship between Allah and His creation, as seen in other verses as well:
Surah Maryam (Chapter 19, Verse 88-92):
"And they say, 'The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son.' You have done an atrocious thing. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation that they attribute to the Most Merciful a son." (Quran 19:88-92)
This passage refutes the idea of Allah having a son or being a father in any way, describing such a belief as a grave error.
Thus, in Islam, calling Allah "Father" is considered a serious theological mistake (blasphemy) because it contradicts the fundamental belief in the oneness and transcendence of God.
Mathew 26:39
Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “MY FATHER, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
The moment when Jesus bowed, prayed, and addressed God as "Father" is recorded in Luke 22:41-42 (NIV), during His prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest:
Luke 22:41-42
41 "He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, 42 'FATHER, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.'"
In this prayer, Jesus is submitting to the will of God the Father, even as He faces immense suffering. It reflects His relationship with God as His Father and His obedience to God's plan.
This verse emphasizes God’s role as a father figure to the people of Israel, reflecting His care, guidance, and creation of His people.
Abraham didn't worship the God of the Quran because God of the Torah discussed about the covenant for all nations while in the Quran wrongdoers are not included.
Genesis 17:3
"Abram fell facedown, and God said to him,"
In this verse, Abram (later renamed Abraham) humbles himself before God as GOD BEGINS TO SPEAK TO HIM ABOUT THE COVENANT He will establish with Abram and his descendants. This moment precedes God's promise of numerous descendants and the land of Canaan.
Quran 2:124
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [ Allah ] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [ Allah ] said, "MY COVENANT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE WRONGDOERS."
