Bostonians Sara Steele-Rogers and opened Retreat AXA in 2019, just in time for the island to close due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But that didn’t daunt this dynamic duo; five years on the island, this charming air-conditioned studio is incredibly popular with locals and visitors alike. Centrally located in Lower South Hill, the studio offers barre fitness classes, private barre training, cold-pressed juices and a souvenir athleisure boutique.

With easy online booking, guests can choose single classes, class packages and unlimited monthly memberships. Known for its addictive workouts, some regulars attend six days a week. Sara describes barre as a ‘challenging, safe, effective and efficient workout’.

For those who can’t get enough of her teaching, Sara also offers online classes so you can take your Anguilla barre experience back home with you.

The Amphitheatre will be in full swing this weekend with Movies and Concert.

We are excited to announce that we will be screening the highly anticipated movie, Moana 2 at 7:00PM followed by a repeat of last week's hit movie, Mufasa: The Lion King (back by popular demand) at the Amphitheatre this Friday! In addition, we will be offering additional snacks at the concession stand.

On Saturday 18th, we welcome The Motowners for Concert 1 of 2 starting at 8:30PM. Be prepared to groove to all your favourite Motown hits by this amazing cover band. The band returns on Tuesday 21st for Concert #2 at the same time. All guests dining with us on the nights of the concert will receive complimentary access to the show. The Dune Preserve, home of the famous Moonsplash Festival (mark your diary to return for this), is an extraordinary driftwood bar – a living work of art nestled in the dunes of Rendezvous Bay. It is the perfect place to lime and listen to live music. The weekly schedule is normally, Tuesday Tea Party at 4.30pm, Friday, Saturday evening jams starting at 9.45pm and ‘Sunday School’ from 1.30pm onwards. Performances are by internationally acclaimed artist Bankie Banks, his family and friends.
