"On Crocus Bay's golden sands, a calm bay, ringed by trees and cliffs where turquoise water laps at the shore and mega-yachts glitter on the horizon, you will find da’Vida – a place made for celebrating life. The setting is pure magic – private, serene and breathtakingly beautiful – especially as the sun sets.

By day, the Bayside Grill invites barefoot lunches of fresh seafood, oven-fired pizzas and chilled cocktails to be enjoyed before or after your paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkelling or swimming.

At night, da’Vida restaurant is an elegant dining room where the talented culinary team serves refined dishes such as crayfish, cowboy steaks and indulgent desserts – each plate a reflection of flavour and artistry.

But da’Vida is more than a restaurant. It’s one of the island’s premier stages for life’s biggest moments – weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate gatherings or intimate private dinners. With sweeping beachfront and sunset views, flexible spaces (they can cater for two to 250), impeccable service, and bespoke details handled by Kelita, Hasani and their culinary team, every occasion is unforgettable."

Trudy Nixon says, “It was a joy to photograph these beautiful twins on Rendezvous Bay. You’ll probably recognise their faces — Tweety and Soya Gumbs have long been familiar, friendly figures in Anguilla’s hospitality scene and I have known and limed with them since I moved to Anguilla, more than 20 years ago."

They began at La Sirena before moving on to Smokey’s and Viceroy, and today, like many in the industry, they balance two roles: Tweety at Four Seasons by day and D. Richards by night, and Soya at Aurora and Belmond Cap Juluca. That means double the chance to meet one or both of them during your stay.

The twins say they love what they do because each day brings new opportunities to connect with people and cultures from around the world. They’ve built lasting friend ships — even traveling to Philadelphia for a guest’s birthday celebration.

True Anguilla ambassadors, sharing Anguilla’s spirit wherever they go.

🌟 Making a Difference, One Schoolbook at a Time 📚💙

Meet Linda Boland, a long-time friend of Anguilla and founder of the Anguilla Schoolbooks Foundation — a registered 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to ensuring that every child in Anguilla has the core textbooks and workbooks they need to succeed.

During her years volunteering in Anguilla’s primary schools, Linda saw firsthand that too many children attend classes without their own schoolbooks. Determined to change that, she created the Anguilla Schoolbooks Foundation in January 2025. Since March, the foundation has already purchased and distributed books to 40 children across the island — giving them not just the tools to learn, but a sense of pride and belonging in the classroom. ✨

💯 Every dollar donated goes directly toward purchasing schoolbooks — no admin fees, no extras — just books for children who need them most.

If you love Anguilla and want to make a lasting impact on its future generation, visit 👉 www.anguillaschoolbooks.com

You can also follow the foundation on Facebook to see the smiles of children proudly holding their very own books.

Together, we can help make sure every child in Anguilla can open a book — and open a world of opportunity. 🌍💛
