Members of the public are invited to a series of screenings of and discussions about the new documentary, Sharks & Rays in Anguilla: Listening Community Voices. The film, produced by the UK’s Marine Conservation Society in collaboration with the Fisheries and Marine Resources Unit the Anguilla National Trust and funded by the Darwin Plus Initiative, highlights the views and perspectives of a range of community members and marine resources stakeholders regarding Anguilla’s marine environment and, more specifically, the island’s shark and ray populations.

The schedule of screenings are as follows:
Thursday 22 June from 6pm to 8pm at the Vivien Vanterpool Primary School (Island Harbour)

Friday 23 June from 6pm to 8pm at Roy’s Bayside Grill (Sandy Ground)

Saturday 24 June from 6pm to 8pm at the Anguilla Football Association Conference Room (The Valley).

Refreshments will be provided.

HAVE YOU RENEWED YOUR DRIVER'S LICENCE?

All persons holding 1 or 3 year Driver’s Licences are asked to please check their licences for the expiry date.

Expired licences must be renewed at the Inland Revenue Department without delay. To renew your driver’s licence, please bring along with you your expired licence to the Inland Revenue Department, Taxpayer Services window, and complete the Application for Renewal of a Driver’s Licence Form, which can be downloaded at the following link -https://www.ird.gov.ai/Content/documents/Renewal%20of%20Drivers%20Licence%20Final%20%202019%20-%20Revised16041141.pdf

Your Licence can be renewed for either 1 year or 3 years, and is valid for that period from the date of issue. Upon payment, a new photograph is taken and a new licence card is issued.

The Traffic Department of the Royal Anguilla Police Force will be making routine checks and persons found without a valid licence will be fined accordingly.
