New job opening for the position of TV Broadcast Audio Engineer/Technician

Creative Media Solutions fz llc is seeking to hire an experienced TV Broadcast Audio Engineer/Technician to manage all aspects of sound during TV production, including live broadcasts and on-location coverage. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and demonstrate the ability to manage the sound quality and atmosphere during live events and in-studio productions, ensuring a seamless auditory experience for viewers.

Responsibilities:

Setting up, testing, and adjusting recording and broadcasting equipment for live broadcasts and on-location coverage.

Working with producers, directors, and performers to achieve the desired sound for each broadcast, considering venue acoustics, intended audience, and creative vision.

Operating and maintaining sound equipment, conducting regular inspections, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Mixing and balancing sound during live broadcasts and post-production.

Coordinating with other technical teams, like lighting, camera operators, floor manager and broadcasting engineers, to ensure a successful broadcast.

Ensuring the sound quality of broadcasts meets established broadcasting standards.

Troubleshooting and resolving sound issues quickly and effectively during live broadcasts.

Managing communication systems such as IFBs (Interruptible Foldback) or DTLs (Down-The-Line) and Internet video calls, ensuring clear and consistent communication between studio, field reporters, live guests and production staff.

Receiving and handling calls for live broadcasts and implementing appropriate sound filtering and levelling.

Keeping up to date with technological advances in the broadcasting industry and integrating new technologies into the production process.

Requirements:

Degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Audio Engineer/Technician, preferably in TV broadcasting.

Extensive knowledge of audio and broadcasting equipment and software, including mixing consoles, microphones, amplifiers, and digital audio workstations.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Good hearing and a good sense of pitch and timing.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as this role often involves working collaboratively with a range of different people.

Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and remain on call for technical emergencies.

Preferred:

Certifications in sound technology, electronics, acoustics, or related fields.

Experience with live broadcast audio engineering.

Familiarity with the unique audio needs and challenges of on-location broadcasts.

Creative Media Solutions is seeking to hire the following position to work within our operations in the UAE.

A new job opening for the position of Transmission / Playout Operator.

The candidate will be responsible for (Ingest Operator / Broadcasting (TV experience) and must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

A complete job description is mentioned below:
Monitor and control the transmission of programming to ensure that the correct content is aired at the correct time
Operate and Build a daily playlist on (ADC - Air Client ).
Maintain the technical quality of the transmission, including monitoring and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
Coordinate with the scheduling department, such as programs, promos, filers, etc., to ensure smooth operation of the channel.
Knowledge and experience with Imagine system (ADC- Air Client) – (Media Client).
Ingest and data entry content using the Media Client system.
Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise with the Air Client systems and check them with the engineering department.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards.
