The 2Pac murder trial has hit another snag, with the judge delaying the trial until February 9, 2026. This decision comes after new evidence emerged, which allegedly supports Keefe D's claim of innocence .
Keefe D, whose real name is Duane Davis, is accused of orchestrating the fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur in 1996. However, his defense team claims that new witness testimony will prove he wasn't at the scene of the crime .
The trial was initially set to begin next month in Las Vegas, but Judge Carli Kierny granted the delay, citing the need for more time to prepare and investigate the new evidence . Keefe D's lawyers argue that they need more time to interview witnesses and conduct further investigations to build their case .
It's worth noting that Keefe D has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge, and his lawyers have previously claimed that he had an immunity deal with law enforcement, which would have protected him from prosecution. However, prosecutors have denied the existence of such an agreement .
