Official World Record Announcement

Chennai’s Amirta Group of Institutions has achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a new world record on November 14, 2024. In an extraordinary event held at their campus in Chengalpet, 500 hotel management students showcased their culinary skills by preparing 1,200 unique omelets in just 8 minutes, breaking their initial target of 10 minutes.

The record-breaking feat was led by the visionary Chef Rajkumar Murugesan and stands as a testament to the institution’s excellence in hospitality and culinary education.

This achievement has been officially registered by Einstein World Records, United Arab Emirates, adding yet another feather to the institution’s cap.

Special mention to Chairman Mr. Boomi Nathan for this great initiative and support in making this project a grand success.

The feat of organizing and coordinating an event featuring 1008 dancers performing Bharatanatyam on the theme of “shivamum bharathamum” for seven captivating minutes along the hill pathway is truly awe-inspiring.

The choice of performing in front of the revered lingams at the 1008 Shiva Lingam Temple, Ariyanur, Salem, adds a deeply spiritual and meaningful dimension to this incredible accomplishment.
