Chocolate and Strawberry Cheesecake 🍓
🟣Ingredients🟣
- **For the base:**
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- **For the filling:**
- 900g cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- **For the chocolate coating:**
- 1/2 cup of milk cream
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- **For decoration:**
- Fresh strawberries cut into slices
🟣Instructions🟣
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Mix the cookie crumbs with the melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the sour cream.
4. Pour the filling over the cookie base in the mold.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes. Let cool in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes, then run a knife around the edge of the pan and remove the ring from the springform. Let cool completely.
6. For the chocolate coating, heat the heavy cream until it is about to boil and pour it over the chocolate chips. Let sit for a minute and then blend until smooth. Let cool slightly before pouring over the cheesecake.
7. Decorate with fresh strawberries cut into slices before serving.
Let the cheesecake cool completely and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
