Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth."
It is very dangerous to attempt to be a witness of Christ before you get filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. You should not witness Christ with your zeal but rather wait for the power to come upon you. With zeal alone you are not safe but with zeal +power you will be good to go. Ask for that power from God and he will surely give you freely.

*How to overcome the devil!*
The best way to overcome the devil is to resist him. Just make sure he remain outside of you because the moment you give in to him you will be finished. Do not give an ear to him because you will never overcome his tricks . The moment you engage into a conversation with him he will definitely convince you because he is a genius in doing so. Even our Lord Jesus Christ did not reason with devil but rather he simply stood upon the word of God and nothing else i.e. he submitted himself unto the Lord and unshakeably remained there.
