KAKIC UNIVERSE is a Zimbabwean based multimedia production house that produces high quality products over various media. We Produce films, documentaries, dramas, series and other media products.

KAKIC Universe was formed by self-thought animator, 19-year-old Kudakwashe Abel Maxwell in 2017 and is involved in the production of animation and graphic creations, including animated films, sitcoms, games, adverts and banners for both TV and online spaces to date.
Kudakwashe’s First Animation, “The Life and Time of Choice Zvenhamo”, was an experiment to see if the dream could be achieved. An Animation he created in 2014, while in form 4, with not much experience
But the first animation with the software, MUVIZU, was amazing! Kudakwashe then Teamed Up With his brother and Childhood Best-friend, Tinotenda Mawunganidze to create the first animations.
The Journey Begins!
Mr Archibald Marwizi discovered Kuda’s talent and saw the potential it had, he then took on Kuda as a partner to guide him in business and other key areas, and together they registered KAKIC UNIVERSE as an official Company on the 5th Of September 2017.
Mr Marwizi then Facilitated for Kudakwashe to speak at the 29th Day of the 100 Days of Learning Hosted by Age of Wonderland where Kudakwashe Presented KAKIC’S BUSINESS PLAN To Potential Investors and Key Sponsors
After this, Kuda’s Father, Mr Morris Maxwell managed to get Kuda on YGT, a tv show for showcasing young Talent in Zimbabwe, there, Kuda showcased KAKIC’s videos.
A lot of radio and newspaper interviews followed but the highlight was when Mr Marwizi facilitated a deal with Midlands State University’s Media Department for Kuda to go in and teach animation to some of their Students.
While Kuda was in Gweru, Mr Marwizi hosted the first ever Gweru International Book Festival.
A festival to celebrate digital literacy and local art and entertainment. The then Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Doctor Lazarus Dokora, was the official guest of honour. KAKIC UNIVERSE, was part of the exhibitors as we were showing some of our Exhibitions to those attending!
Mr Dokora Saw Kuda’s Work and was greatly impressed and Endorsed Kakic Universe!
After all this Kuda Declined to continue another term at MSU and decided to grow the company and focus on more productions!
Kakic Universe then took part in amazing events such as Unveiling of the stars and Comexsposed 2018 and many more
KAKIC UNIVERSE OFFICIAL LAUNCH
We officially Launched our company on the 1st of July 2019. The event was a fun, amazing and entertaining event where we showcased our work; The Old, the current and the new work, as well as Spoken about the future and our vision for it!
The launch featured amazing Poets and Spoken Word Artists such as The Unspoken and Hey Hey Preacher, for more on the launch browse through our timeline.
The Guest of Honour was Mr Peter Churu who was standing in for director of Theatre in the Park. Daves Guzha. And he gave an interesting speech encouraging KAKIC UNIVERSE, to Dominate National Television with its content:
