St Angels Apostolic Faith Church is slowly coming back on the fold after being haunted by a horrible road accident which occurred at 53 km peg near Beatrice, along Harare-Masvingo Road. The fateful accident occurred on 26 April 2024 at about 16:00 hours on a Friday.
The congregation was coming from Epworth in Harare and travelling towards Chivhu for a Passover festival but unfortunately horror struck. The accident involved a hired Mercedes Benz Sprinter and a haulage truck.
The accident claimed 16 lives and amongst those who died included 14 from church and 2 conduçtors from the mini bus crews.
This vedio was captured on Sunday 02 June in Epworth during a church service to rebuild the affected branch in giving them solidarity and rebuilding spirit.
The passage which the church went through brought about darkness and hopelessness which shook the St Angels Apostolic Faith Church.
We were devastated and failed to come to terms with the circumstances as some of families suffered 3 to 4 deaths in that unforgettable tragic.
We are with their souls despite being robbed by such a terrible accident which was hard to comprehend and accept.
Isaya Ndawana is also a member of St Angels Apostolic Faith Church and holds the position of Secretary in The Council of Elders.
MATAVIRE SPIRIT LIVES ON AS KNOWLEDGE MBAVARA FOLLOWS IN THE LATE MUSICIAN'S FOOTSTEPS.

The late Paul "Dr Love" Matavire was known for his best music which was premised on love issues. He was the music composer and lead vocalist for Jairos Jiri Band before forming his own band call The Hit Machine.
Knowledge Mbavara is a super sub for the late hilarious musician, Paul "Dr Love" Matavire who has fitted in very well, resembling the true Dr Love.
He is also the music composer and band leader of his group called The Hot Machine Sounds, whose pedigree in singing like the late music maestro matches Paul "Dr Love" Matavire similaries.
If you sample out his nine (9) track album called Makwikwi Nerudo, you would beyond any doubt prove that the late Paul Matavire is back in the fold which Knowledge Mbavara replicates the late Hit Machine frontman.
Makwikwi Nerudo talks about love competition which he managed to fuse this title track with Shona, Ndebele and English which makes no difference with how Paul Matavire arranged his music.
Knowledge Mbavara is a super sub who has fitted in very well in the late Paul Matavire's shoes which is a testimony of his musical ingenuity.
Go for it and listen to good music in the making. His music has been well received and getting a fair share of play across radio stations with Radio Zimbabwe and National FM leading in airplay.
His vocals and instruments arrangements resemble that of an emerging Paul "Dr Love" Matavire replacement.

CItizens Coalition for Change President Adv. Nelson Chamisa responds to fraudulent recalls on CCC Parliamentarians, Senators and Councillors during a media briefing today in Harare.
He was speaking on the way forward after an imposter by the name Sengezo Tshabangu made collusions in recalling CCC Mps which brought about meyhem in Parliament yesterday. Never before a time has Parliament business came to a standstill as anti-riot police disrupted violently, assaulting and ejecting CCC members of parliament
Sengezo Tshabangu wrote letters of recall to Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda and Minister of Local government Hon. Winston Chitando calling himself CCC interim Secretary General. He also wrote to Senate President in recalling five (5) Senators.
In his address today Adv. Nelson Chamisa called for a disengagement from Parliament and councils business and he emphasised that it was not a call to withdraw but suspend any transactions.
He has castigated the latest actions which divorces democratic fundamentals and disregard of our national constitution which throws the electorate's choice into turmoil.
Further to his anouncement he said until such a time when normalcy returns then CCC resumes business and urged people to remain calm whilst all avenues will be exhausted in seeking recourse. He said whilst every effort is being made to find solution, CCC is going to engage local civic societies, regional bodies like SADC, AU and international community like UN.
In his further statement he said medical bills know no political parties, hardships know no political parties and so as school fees which wrecks havoc in people's suffering.

Reporting from Harare.
Mnangagwa is under immense pressure from all corners of the world and England have lately voiced concerns over his legitimacy after a sham of an election which lacked ingredients of credibility..
He was inaugurated last Monday but under very negligible number of heads of states dignitaries who only numbered three (3). These included South Africa Mozambique and DRC.
Zanu PF false government continues to be condemned worldwide against the way how 23 August 2023 elections were managed. False in the context that Mnangagwa is not recognised as a legitimate president because the elections were not endorsed and fell far short to meet democratic standards.
Standards which are carried within the context of SADC elections policy and guidelines charter and those of international requirements. The conduct by ZEC was largely condemned due to it's unprofessional conduct which was far-fetched in throwing the whole electoral process into disrepute.
The major discussion in The House of Lords was centred on democratic processes shortcomings with the elections failing to meet regional and international standards. Chief among key issues raised was the intimidation to electorate in the rural areas and outlying district's.
One pertinent issue which was also raised was targeted arrests of opposition members and those who fight for human rights like lawyers and civic organisations on elections such as Zimbabwe Election Support Network, ZESN.
Therefore England is keeping an eye on the developments in Zimbabwe post elections and has emphasised that she will work with SADC in seeking for a lasting democratic solution.
Based on these discussions England has also casted doubt whether Zimbabwe will be re-admitted in the Commonwealth unless Zimbabwe's politica

Reporting from Harare.
The popular Harare informal sector furniture manufacturing complex located in Glenview area 8 has once again fallen into a fire disaster which destroyed thousands dollars worth of products and upholstery material last night.
It is hard to pass by each year without recording the fire outbreak which has become a perennial ghost, coming back again hitting hard on the carpenters with loses of stock running into thousands of United States dollars.
It was reported that by late last night at about 11 o'clock that fire outbreak was noticed from the nearby stream end but it was too late to contain the fierce blazes which swept through part of the complex with devastating effect.
According to eyewitnesses the inferno was so overwhelming and it rapidly spread as the wind increased the combustion compounded with some flamables which aggravated the situation.
The section to the North East end of the informal sector furniture manufacturing hub was the worst affected with everything razed to the ground, save for few salvaged products as well as materials.
The carpenters were counting on big losses and for them to recover it requires intervetion from some lending institutions through a revolving fund at a reasonable interest especially by Ministry of Small to Medium Enterprises.
The Harare Fire brigade battled to extiquish the strong fires and restlessly fought with the fire as it was spreading towards the nearby Engen service station. It managed to contain the fire but it had already extensively destroyed part of the complex.
Those who managed
to escape the unfortunate fire accident are operating to the South West and half of Western side which was not affected by the inferno. The sad part of this unfortunate experience is that every year fire outbreak hit the complex.
