The results of building in wetlands and diverting streams. Coner Boshoff and Seke road. They redid the whole parking lot because it was unstable as a result of the water which is right at surface. So they put in drains under the new parking lot to direct water into the new river channel/ trench they constructed.

With the country experiencing more severe drought cycles and a warmer climate as a result of climate change, it is quite saddening to note that corruption and mismanagement are a serious threat to water security in the country. Making an already worsening situation more problematic than it should be, leaving the poor scrambling for access to water daily.
