Happy World Press Day!
A time to reflect, acknowledge and appreciate inclusion of press. The small wins like the launch of Lotsha FM deserve to be celebrated on this day as this shows expansion of Press landscape.
This is equally a time to embrace and praise the tremendous and exceptional role played by the press in our communities though raising awareness, educating the masses, promotion of democracy and freedom of expression.
This year’s theme is ‘Shaping a Future of Rights: Freedom of expression as a driver for all other human rights’.
