President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said the Second Republic will never betray the revolution and that the Party will not die.
Giving his opening remarks at the 24th session of the National Consultative Assembly ,ZANU PF First Secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa said the Revolutionary Party remain guided by the rich liberation war heritage and the ideology bequeathed by the founding fathers and luminaries of ZANU PF.
“The resounding victory by our revolutionary mass party stands as a testament of the continued confidence the people of or country have in our leadership. We are a Party which is wholeheartedly pursuing a people-centred national development agenda, which leaves no one and no place behind.
“We remain guided by our rich liberation war heritage and the ideology bequeathed to us by the founding fathers and luminaries of our great Party. To this end, the ZANU PF led Government is advancing programmes and projects that entrench the true meaning of independence, sovereignty, dignity and integrity,” said President Mnangagwa.
President Mnangagwa also reiterated that the Second Republic is centred on programmes that are people oriented.
“Our national interest and the well-being of the people of Zimbabwe are at the core of all our policies and programmes. “I therefore, assure this august gathering, of you the stalwarts of our Party, that under the Second Republic, the Party and Government will never betray the revolution and that the Party will not die in our hands.
“To date, unprecedented successes have been recorded throughout all sectors of the economy as a result of people centred and responsive policies.
“ The timeous implementation of programmes and projects have seen an improved quality of life and social services for our people, especially those at the grassroots level. Many are being lifted out of poverty,” said President Mnangagwa.

President warns individuals trying to manipulating Party structures

President Mnangagwa has said those who want to buy their way into ZANU PF and manipulate the ongoing restructuring and mobilisation programme must be exposed.
Giving his opening remarks to the 123rd session of the Central Committee , ZANU PF First secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa said the Revolutionary Party , ZANU PF adhere to the fundamental principles of organising and building its support base on concrete structures from the cell/village, branch and provincial level.
“As ZANU PF, we adhere to the fundamental principles of organising and building our revolutionary mass Party based on concrete structures from the cell/village, branch and provincial level. We are a Party with a solid base which is rooted in the people. Cells and villages remain the critical cogs of our Party and that is where focus of our restructuring programme should be.
“Equally, those who want to buy their way into ZANU PF and manipulate the ongoing restructuring and mobilisation programme must be exposed. The Party will not hesitate to invoke Article 37 Section 549 of our constitution for those who exhibit indiscipline and brute ambition.

President Mnangagwa also underscored that ZANU PF is a Party which delivers on its promises and its policies are aligned with the hopes and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe.
“The responsive policies of the ZANU PF Government have seen the continued growth and stabilisation of our economy. This is despite the effects of climate change induced EL Nino drought ,illegal sanctions imposed on us by our detractors ,as well as other related shocks.ZANU PF MPs and councillors must continue working closely with the electorate to meet their needs and explain the trajectory of our national development agenda.
“This will enable non-members to be reminded that ZANU PF is a Party which delivers on its promises. Our Party policies are aligned with the hopes and aspirations of the people of our great motherland, Zimbabwe,”said President Mnangagwa.
He also urged the nation to continue supporting the conducive business operating environment ushered in by the Second Republic.
“The conducive business operating environment, unity, peace and harmony must be protected and sustained. Further, our young talented hardworking entrepreneurs and women should be supported and facilitated to innovate and produce more local goods and products for the benefit of our communities at every level,” said President Mnangagwa.

ZANU PF First Secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa has said War veterans are a strategic entity to both the Party and country.
Giving is opening remarks to the 377th session of the Politburo President Mnangagwa directed the War veterans leadership to make concerted efforts to close the fissures within the grouping of the war veterans.
President Mnangagwa also reiterated the need for the war veterans to remain vigilant and on guard against various forms of infiltration by the enemy.
“Regrettably, the noises emanating from some quotas of the War Veterans are of concern. The leadership of War veterans, under the Secretary of the war veterans league and other critical stakeholders are once again directed to make concerted efforts to close the fissures within this grouping, which is a strategic entity to both our Party and country.
“Let us remain vigilant and on guard against various forms of infiltration by the enemy .We must never betray our revolution, or dishonour the ultimate sacrifice paid by the many sons and daughters of the soil who fought for our freedom and independence,” said President Mnangagwa.
President Mnangagwa also call upon the Politburo to provide solid leadership as well as wise and honest guidance to all wings of the Party.
“Going Forward, I call upon the Politburo to provide solid leadership as well as wise and honest guidance to all wings of the Party. This should always be informed by the Party Constitution, and the correct line of the Party. We must be leader who exhibit integrity and the principle at all times.

President Mnangagwa has challenged the nation to remain vigilant and resolute in the face of the neo—imperial machinations of the country’s detractors.
Giving his keynote address to the 376th ordinary session of the Politburo, ZANU PF First Secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa said lessons and emerging trends against former liberations movements within and beyond the region are stark reminders of the sustained hegemonic tendencies by former colonisers.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa also challenged the Party leadership to raise the political consciousness of the Revolutionary Party’s membership to defend the country from detractors.
“I Challenge us to remain vigilant and resolute in the face of the neo—imperial machinations of our country’s detractors. Lessons and emerging trends against former liberations movements within and beyond the region are stark reminders of the sustained hegemonic tendencies of our erstwhile former colonisers.
“We must raise the political consciousness of our membership to defend our country, independence and territorial integrity, now and into the future.
“It is a shame and disgrace that foreign funding for humanitarian support and related programmes is being used to clandestinely advance practices that are alien to our cultures, values and norms, “said President Mnangagwa.
President Mnangagwa also reiterated that Zimbabwe is a sovereign state and will never accept any foreign support that has conditionalities that seek to defile and denigrate its national character.

As ZANU PF and an African people, we reject the imposition of alien identities as well as cultures. We continue to hold sacred our African morals, values and traditions. President Emmerson Mnangagwa urged the WAR veterans to always toe the correct line of the Party in accelerating and advancing sound and solid Party programmes.
Giving his keynote address at the First ZANU PF War Veterans League National Assembly, First Secretary and President of the Revolutionary Party, Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa said ZANU PF is the only revolutionary Party with a DNA that strictly adheres to its founding policies, procedures, regulations and the sanctity of the constitution.
“ZANU PF is the only revolutionary Party with a DNA that strictly adheres to its founding policies, procedures, regulations and the sanctity of the constitution. We, as the WAR veterans, must always toe the correct line of the Party.
“Counter –revolutionary manoeuvres of whatever nature, to derail the Party will not be tolerated. President Mnangagwa also challenged the Veterans of The liberation struggle to remain aware of the yester-year revolutionary unity that it is the glue that continue to bind the comrades together.
“I challenge the war veterans to remain aware that our yester-year revolutionary unity is the glue that must continue to bind us together .Cadre-ship growth and raising the political consciousness in the rank and file of the Party is of paramount importance.
“You must, therefore, develop and implement a robust programme towards the speedy restructuring and re-organisation of the War Veterans league from the cell/village, branch, districts and province right up to the national level.
“Our deeply entrenched internal constitutional democratic processes must be followed by the league to the letter, “said President Mnangagwa.
Under the Second Republic, President Mnangagwa also reiterated that the dignity of the country’s veterans of the liberation struggle and that of the general citizenry is of utmost importance, as the nation move towards the attainment of vision 2030

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said special attention is on economic transformation as the Second Republic accelerate the implementation of innovative projects towards the realisation of Vision 2030.
Commissioning the New Baker’s Inn Production Plant in Bulawayo, ZANU PF First Secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa said the national policy is anchored by in-ward-looking strategies and home grown solutions to propel sustainable socio-economic development and prosperity.
“In line with the National vision, special attention is centred on transforming our economy through moving up the value chains. This Policy thrust is anchored by in-ward-looking strategies and home grown solutions to propel sustainable socio-economic development and prosperity.
“Further, in this increasingly competitive world, improving technological capacity as well as pursuing contemporary ways of producing goods and services remain essential for business competitiveness and growth.
“It is therefore pleasing that the baking sub-sector has witnessed significant investment inflows, through re-capitalisation and re-tooling, marking a transition from antiquated technologies. As a result of this new plant, 1 expect Barker’s Inn to lower their production costs, enhance product viability and deliver quality goods, at a reasonable prices.
“Meanwhile the increased production of 200 000 loaves of bread per day, should see the creation of employment opportunities within the company, especially for women and the youth. Backward and forward linkages in aspects such as packaging and distribution must also be enhanced, “said President Mnangagwa.
President Mnangagwa applauded the Innovation of the Barkers’ Inn container project saying it will go a long way in providing entrepreneurship training and create employment for the people of Zimbabwe.
“The Innovation of the Barkers’ Inn container project is applauded as it will not only grow the company’s sales footprint but also provide beneficiaries with entrepreneurship training under the mini-wholesale bread business project. Well done.

“Zimbabwe has now managed to be wheat self-sufficient and this momentum must be maintained .To complement Government efforts, I urge players in the milling and baking industry to increase the number of contracted farmers to boost domestic wheat production and that of other crops,”said President Mnangagwa.
The Head of State and Government and also Chancellor of all state universities urge the investors to collaborate with local higher learning institutions utilising the on-going heritage based education on innovation.
“Furthermore, I exhort investors to invest in the production of other raw materials required for baking, which are currently being imported, such as fats and enzymes, among others.
“Collaborations and synergies with our institutions of higher learning for development of enzymes and other products that improve the quality of our bread and confectionaries must be pursued,” said President Mnangagwa.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said Zimbabwe is on an irreversible transformative journey of modernisation, industrialisation and development.
Giving his keynote address at the Grand opening of the Hyatt Regency hotel in Harare, President Mnangagwa said the move by The Hyatt hotel chain team has shown faith in the efforts of the Second Republic to grow the tourism and hospitality sector in line with Vision 2030.
“The Hyatt hotel chain team have shown faith in our vision as the second republic. I extend my heartfelt gratitude the Hyatt hotel group for their unwavering commitment to success of this project.
“On behalf of my government, the people of Zimbabwe and the tourism and hospitality sector, I therefore welcome you to Zimbabwe. Under our mantra Zimbabwe is Open for Business, be rest assured that we will continue to be an investment destination where capital, investors and visitors will always be safe.
“Zimbabwe is on an irreversible transformative journey of modernisation, industrialisation and development. President Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged officers in the defence and security to remain patriotic and consistence in their line of duty taking a leaf from the late National Hero Cde Tobias Chaunoita.
Addressing Mourners at National Heroes Acre, ZANU PF First Secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa urged Intelligence, Defence and Security officers to draw from the good traits of persistence, consistence, patriotism and selflessness which were exhibited by the late National Hero, Cde Chaunoita.
“I particularly exhort officers in the rank and file of our Intelligence, Defence and Security Sector to draw from the good traits of persistence, consistence, patriotism and selflessness which were exhibited by our late National Hero, Cde Chaunoita ‘Tobias Zvenyika’. He never wavered in the course of his service to our nation. Anga ari munhu akavimbika, aimira pachokwadi nguva dzose, asina mavato. The life and professional history of our late National Hero should, therefore, serve as a source of inspiration;”said President Mnangagwa.
President Mnangagwa also reiterated the need to uphold the culture of peace and togetherness as the nation work towards the realisation of vision 2030.
The Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces also said rogue and retrogressive elements who are found undermining and sabotaging the national development agenda will be exposed and flashed out.
“Let us stay on this trajectory working together in unity and common purpose. Rogue and retrogressive elements who are found undermining our broad and people-centred policies should continue to be exposed as our people’s revolution keeps moving forward. Forward ever, backward never,”said President Mnangagwa.
The late National Hero, Cde Chaunoita was born on 1 June, 1958, in Gutu District, Masvingo Province. Between 1967 and 1969, he attended Gudo Primary School, from Sub A to Standard One and transferred to Mataruse Primary School in 1970, where he completed his primary education.

Cde Chaunoita proceeded to attend Gutu Secondary School for Form One and Two. It was during the period 1973 to 1974, that he experienced the brutality and oppression of the Rhodesian white settlers, following the enactment and implementation of suppressive laws such as the Land Husbandry Act and the Tax Act, among others.

Addressing mourners at the burial of National heroes Brigadier General Shadreck Vhezha,Cde Dzimiri and Heroine Cde Grace Jadagu ,ZANU PF First Secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa said Zimbabweans must pull in one direction as a united and peace-loving people and the nation should not forget that it is through the selfless consistence and persistent sacrifices of heroes such as the late Brigadier Generak Shadreck Vheza,Cde Dzimiri,and Cde Jadagu that Zimbabwe continues to enjoy independence ,freedom and sovereignty.
“As the second republic we have deliberately implemented bold policy decisions to ensure that women and youth occupy strategic positions in the governance architecture of our country. Against this background, I urge women and youth in leadership positions across all levels, in both the public and private sectors to champion transformative initiatives to propel and help drive social-economic and political advancement.

Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development, Eng. Dr Polite Kambamura has said human capital development agenda is one of the critical pillars for mining sector development as the nation march towards attaining the national vision of Zimbabwe becoming an Upper Middle-Income Country by the year 2030.
Minister Kambamura who was the Guest of Honour at THE ZIMBABWE SCHOOL OF MINES LAPIDARY EQUIPMENT DONATION CEREMONY in Matabeleland North, said with growth in the mining sector government anticipate an exponential growth in human capital and with the right skills.
“The Government of Zimbabwe acknowledges the MMCZ and Zimbabwe School of Mines strategic roles, not only in the mining sector, but in national economic development at large.

“With growth in the mining sector, we anticipate an exponential growth in human capital and with the right skills. The role of the Zimbabwe School of Mines cannot be overemphasized and we applaud the Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe for partnering with the school in order to achieve the national role of mining skills development in the mining industry and most importantly the objective for empowering youths and women to set up their own value addition centres across Zimbabwe,” said Dr Kambamura.
The lapidary equipment donation to the Zimbabwe School of Mines (ZSM) by Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe is a symbiotic partnership already in existence aims to promote value addition and beneficiation of gemstones through cutting and polishing in line with NDS1 among others.

Zimbabwe is no exception as the country has adopted a new education curriculum (Education 5.0) which is inclined towards modern technological trends.
“In that regard, the School is encouraged to benchmark itself with local and International Universities in Mining in order to tap the expertise and knowledge required in the 5th industrial revolution for the mining industry,”said Dr Kambamura.
