The Joy of Salvation
In the house of the Lord is where one has to find his joy. From -- Psalms 122 : 1, "I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord." David shows his gladness and excitement about going to the House of God.
Same with all us children of God, though we have moments, places and memories that give us joy in everyday life. There is joy that comes from visiting places, having good moments with family, relatives and friends but this is temporal and seasonal. The Joy that comes from going in the presence of God endures forever and that is the joy that we must will for in our daily life for it is of eternity.
-- Psalms 118 v 24 reads, "This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it."
We must not force ourselves or be forced to have this joy in the Lord. We must not have this joy, for the sake of pleasing others. The Joy of Salvation must be natural and not present in us because we have money or riches.
Also, the joy of the Lord is our Strength from --Nehemiah 8 v 10
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
God wills us to live in truth and Reality.

Psalm 51 v 12 _Restore unto me the joy of my salvation lord!
