September is Deaf Awareness month. Melania says Sign Language allows communities to work together and, with Sign Language, the success of deaf people should not come as a surprise to anyone.
Technology is making the lives of deaf people easier. Alois Tarehwa talks about how he recently used a phone app called LiveTranscribe to help him in a training where there was no Sign Language interpreter. The app transcribes speech to text and is free to download on the Google Playstore.
