It was a big night for women at the 2023 Dancers Association of Zimbabwe Awards held at City Sports Bar in the capital on the 28th of February.

It was all glitz and glamor throughout the night which had Beverly Sibanda and Starlight Musica breaking the record for most wins. Zoey got honored and Peter Moyo made a guest appearance in attendance.

The dynamic duo of MC Flame Ndombele and MC Kedha hosted the event which was sponsored by Shimac and Dreamteam Events - with performances from Starlight, Wasu, Sekuru Zvambu and more. City Sports Bar veteran DJ Mango Loops was on the decks and kept the whole place ablaze with hit after hit. It was energy and dance for the greater part of the night as DAZ united all active dancers across Zimbabwe.

World led by Kevie Cee covered the event and red carpet on a night which saw a wide array of awards being handed out.

Present to hand over the awards were DAZ President Hapaz and Vice President Wasu.

Kudah RunIt promises New Single

Kudakwashe Chiwamira popularly known as KUDAH RUNIT will be giving us a Valentines Day gift in the form of a single titled Ndagadzikana.This is his first single in 2022.

"Ndagadzikana is a Reggae song which I wrote as a dedication to my wife and it's the Valentine's present I have for her so yeah,,, it indeed had to drop on Valentine's Day" said Kudah

"Ndagadzikana was inspired by the peace I finally found in Tendai.My heart is settled and I'm ready to start a family with her.I did it to assure her that I'm ready to settle, we ready to face each challenge as it comes. I was supposed to release Makakodzera last year then lobola preparations came in the way so that single is coming then my 4th album comes out.It will be titled Yerah Yerah" he went on

The song which does not feature any other artist was produced by Alicious from Alicious Muzik. He is popular for producing all Feli Nandi songs.

Renowned visual artist Mcpotar is preparing an animated visualizer for the song.

"However on my Wedding I'm going to have it shot live, there will be a special time for the presentation of the song" added Kudah RunIt

Ndagadzikana will be released on Youtube but will also be available on all online stores as well.
