One of the long-serving Zimdancehall DJs and promoters, King Alfred of New Generations Ent, will be hosting the Zimbabwe Cup Clash 2024 in the UK. The Zimbabwe Cup Clash has been one of the most attractive events in the UK in terms of promoting the best of Zim talent. This year, they have invited the Chillspot Family, one of the best entertainers at the moment, alongside Master H, the man of the moment, Bazooker, and Uncle Epatan.
There will also be other award-winning MCs in the diaspora, like Jah Hanif and Empress Trish. The event will feature a clash of various DJs from different genres. The winner will walk away with a trophy, money, and loads of prizes. The event has partners like Remitly, one of the best ways to send money.

"Dear Esteemed Elders, Kings, and Queens of Zimdancehall,

I am writing to offer my sincerest apologies for my previous actions, which compromised the integrity and dignity of our beloved culture. The open letters I penned to Sir Wicknell, Mr. Mutarisi, and Olinda, soliciting ZDA sponsorship, were unbecoming and detrimental to our community's values. I have since come to realize that a more judicious and respectful approach would have been more fitting.

Many of you have graciously offered guidance and wisdom, for which I am eternally grateful. I have taken down the donation requests and have learned invaluable lessons from this experience. While soliciting support from individuals with the capacity to give is acceptable, approaching esteemed organizations like ZDA requires a more sophisticated and professional approach.

As a 'Ghetto Yut' who has navigated the complexities of the music industry through experiential learning, I am committed to applying the knowledge and insights I have acquired over the past 4/5 years. I will not relinquish my role as the Zimdancehall Music Awards Organizer but instead, I will strive to elevate this year's awards to a testament of my growth and dedication.

Let me also take this opportunity to reaffirm that the Zimdancehall Music Awards (ZDA) are apolitical and not beholden to any political party or entity. Our sole focus is on celebrating and promoting the rich talent and cultural heritage of Zimdancehall, regardless of political affiliations or beliefs. We aim to create an inclusive and united platform for all artists, fans, and stakeholders.

I want to acknowledge that my previous actions sparked a range of reactions. While some people appreciated the intention behind my idea, others felt hurt or offended. I understand now that my approach was flawed, and for that, I apologize. I'm committed to doing better in the future and creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for everyone.

Following numerous calls and messages from devoted fans, we have made the decision to postpone the 2023 Awards Ceremony. However, rest assured that we will unveil the winners of the 2023 Edition across all social media platforms. The highly anticipated Zimdancehall Awards 2024 Edition is scheduled for December 31, 2024, in Harare.

Zimdancehall's resilience knows no bounds. We extend our deepest gratitude to each of you for standing by us since 2019, as evidenced by our remarkable achievements. We've reached significant milestones, including 20K Facebook followers and over 14K likes. Our 2021 Online Edition garnered a staggering 90K views within 24 hours on Facebook, while the 2023 Edition saw an unprecedented 35K votes within a week.

In just a few days since the commencement of the voting process, the response has been nothing short of astounding. With over 15000 votes flooding in through WhatsApp alone, it's clear that the passion of music enthusiasts knows no bounds.

Amidst this fervor, we are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to TNG Kamukadzi, whose nomination stands as a testament to her undeniable talent and the overwhelming support of her fans. Surpassing the 3,000-vote milestone, TNG Kamukadzi's emergence as a nominee for Best Upcoming Artist in the 2023 Edition is truly well-deserved.
