Masvingo Mirror reports that Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) officers then went to the hall to block the meeting.

Nelson Chamisa's supporters heard of the blockade and secretly moved to Chevron, where they held the meeting peacefully as the Police stayed put at Mucheke Hall.

The ZRP officers only found out yesterday, almost 24 hours later, that the meeting was held secretly.
