On Saturday, the Blue movement was to hold a workshop of over 130 cluster leaders at Mucheke Hall in Masvingo.

Masvingo Mirror reports that Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) officers then went to the hall to block the meeting.

Nelson Chamisa's supporters heard of the blockade and secretly moved to Chevron, where they held the meeting peacefully as the Police stayed put at Mucheke Hall.

The ZRP officers only found out yesterday, almost 24 hours later, that the meeting was held secretly.

• ZEC’s delimitation violated the Constitution.

• ZEC’s calculation affected the equality of votes for MPs, but no impact on the Presidential election

• SADC Head of observer mission Nevers Mumba says Zimbabwe’s “Patriot Act” restricts free expression. According to Mumba, in his interactions with opposition, they told him that even meeting SADC would likely get them arrested under the law.

• SADC concerned that only Bulawayo & Harare only despite ZEC assuring they had all things under control.

• ZEC acted in restrictive manner in how it dealt with the Voters Roll, says ZEC should act in favor of Constitution not to legislation which neglate the constitution.

: The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has today published information on ballot papers for the August 2023 general elections after it was sued by CCC. Fidelity Printers did printing:

MP - 7,098,750
Council - 6,854,250

Zimbabwe Electoral Commission ZEC says it is illegal for media, politicians, and anybody to announce election results before they are announced by ZEC.

[2] This come after citizens movement Pachedu and Citizen Agents announced they will run a parallel voter tabulation using V11 forms published on Polling stations.
