In similar vein, Gordon Epperson maintained: "Music is the expression . . . of the emotions; an aural image of how feelings feel, how they operate."In the development of sentics, Clynes has begun to show how music does this. Having demonstrated that the expression of emotion occurs through cer￾tain predictable forms (which he termed essentic forms) 2 9
Clynes has gone on to show how musicians can manipulate the pitch and loudness of individual tones to embody essentic forms in a melody line. This is achieved much the same way tone of voice is modulated to make a sentence meaningful. He describes it thus:
In producing a melody, a composer places the notes so that they in
effect fit the outline of the appropriate essentic form. . . . Musical
tones are placed at suitable points along the path of an essentic form so that internally they can act as markers in the generation of the form. That is to say, the musical tones engender internally the motor pattern of essentic form corresponding also to program
points of a touch expression of the same quality.

You will never believe how much these kids have grown since we did this video in 2017. Here is Joyful Young Melodies singing He shall Come. Accompaniment done by Elder Velaphi Gumbo. Working with kids is a tiring but joyful and fun time. This song was mastered in a very short space of time. Surely if preaching can't keep them in the movement, music will and the right type of music thereof. Here is Joyful Young Melodies singing Hope in Covid 19. A sobering Covid Awareness song. A rearrangement of L. Ndimande's Mawuto AKristu. The song was originally done for the then combined original HRC in 2010. I just composed a new tune for it. This is one of my finest songs. The thrust of this composition was trying to comeout with a songs that typifies the Advent Message. I also wanted to compose a song from Daniel. It started a whole series of songs from that prophetic book. The song was selected to be sung by OHRC at the GC Session 2022 in St Louis, USA. Due to covid restrictions, the choir was unable to attend physically hence it was sung vertually on Wednesday Morning before the sermon.
