Reason to be a politician is that politics is an arena where most pivotal decisions are made. If we pause and think about it, some of the most important decisions in the history of our country and world are taken by politicians. Five year plans and centralized economic activity, emergency, economic liberalization, Right to information and Right to education, demonetization- all these decisions were taken by politicians and changed Zimbabwe forever- for better or worse. Big reforms happen through both social movements and political will. However, we know that in Zimbabwe , it is the elected representatives where the buck stops. Promotion of Meritocracy and Eradication of Corruption is the Foundation of Sustainable Development in Zimbabwe

Corruption should never be tolerated at all in Zimbabwe irrespective of who is committing it. Meritocracy should be the basis of promoting Zimbabwean talent, exploiting and making the best use of it, and developing our beautiful Zimbabwe!

Zimbabwe is talented with natural and skilled human resources. Our misplaced, misdirected and misuse of the God given natural resources and human capital is perhaps the cause of our re****ed sustainable development. Perhaps too, Corruption is at the center of it all. Food for thought!
