đź“˝ Watch UNDP Resident Representative for Zimbabwe, Dr Ayodele Odusola express how the semen processing and cryopreservation centre recently commissioned at Matopos Research Institute is a strategy employed to respond to climate issues and promote climate actions that will be able to adapt to the environment and also enhance agricultural productivity.
The centre has a capacity to process 3 million livestock semen straws annually and will aid in enhancing climate resilience for cattle production.

đź“˝ Recently speaking on viable solutions for the Bulawayo water crisis, Bulawayo Mayor, David Coltart expressed that in the short term there is need to upgrade the pipeline from Mtshabezi to Ncema pumping station and also to rehabilitate and upgrade the pipeline from Insiza.
The Mayor further highlighted that a mid-term solution lies in Cabinet authorising the construction of the Glassblock Dam, which has a capacity to provide 70 megaliters of water per day, while Gwayi- Shangani dam is seen as a long-term solution⬇️
