🌍 African Economic Independence: Zambia's Youth as Catalysts for Change 🇿🇲

🔥 It's time to shine the spotlight on Zambia's remarkable journey towards economic independence and the pivotal role of its vibrant youth in driving transformative change. 🚀

🌱 Africa, with its rich resources and abundant potential, is on the path to economic prosperity. But to truly unlock this potential, we must empower our youth—the driving force of innovation and progress. Zambia serves as an inspiring example of a nation that recognizes the power of its young population. 💪

🔑 By investing in education, skills development, and entrepreneurship, Zambia is equipping its youth with the tools they need to shape their own destiny and drive economic growth. 🎓💼

💡 The creative ideas and innovative thinking of Zambia's young minds are instrumental in diversifying the economy and reducing dependency on traditional sectors. They are embracing technology, exploring sustainable solutions, and pioneering entrepreneurship to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. 🌍

📚 Education is the foundation upon which economic independence is built. Zambia is prioritizing quality education that equips young people with relevant skills, preparing them to lead in the digital age. 📚💻

🤝 Collaboration between the government, private sector, and civil society is crucial. Zambia recognizes this and actively encourages partnerships that support youth-driven initiatives, create employment opportunities, and foster an enabling environment for innovation and growth. 💼🤝

📢 It's time to celebrate the achievements of Zambia's youth in breaking barriers, overcoming challenges, and driving positive change. Let's amplify their voices, share their success stories, and inspire others to follow their lead. 🙌💡

🌟 Together, we can create an Africa where economic independence is a reality, where the youth are at the forefront of progress, and where the potential of our continent knows no bounds. 🌍✨

"A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, "I would like to buy some cyanide."

The pharmacist asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."

The pharmacist's eye got big and he exclaimed, "Lord have mercy! I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband. That's against the law! I'll lose my license! They'll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "Well now, that's different. You didn't tell me you had a prescription." See More @ https://www.facebook.com/Bashi-Joe-Comedy-763074983717383/

14 YEAR OLD GIRL DIES IN DEMONS EXORCISING EXERCISE

A 14 year old girl of Mumbwa has been burnt to death as a religious leader and six other men including the girl’s father were conducting a procedure to exorcise alleged demons from her.

According to Diamond TV Zambia, Central Province Police Commanding Officer, Donald Mwandila says the girl’s 35 year old father identified as, Gift Siyainga Mbulo Michelo and five others took the girl to an Evangelist at Zion Church, Pancho Shimangwala to perform some rituals to exorcise the demons.

He says the girl was made to sit on the ground and a pot containing hot stones placed between her legs.

Mr. Mwandila says then the girl’s father was asked to pour spirit and vinegar into to the pot containing the hot stones, then covered the girl in a blanket, which the other five men held tightly for the steam not to go out.

He says due to this process preliminary investigations indicate the girl got burnt and suffocated to death.

Mr. Mwandila says police visited the scene and found the body with multiple burns on the face, right thigh, left knee and hands and in a decomposed state.

He says due to the state of the body the family was advised to bury and mark the grave for exhumation.

Mr. Mwandila says police have since apprehended the six suspects to help in investigations.

The girl’s grandfather identified as Jericho Siabunda of Kambobe Mumbwa reported the incident to police and identified the girl as Chipo Molomoga.

The incident occurred on 15th February 2022 around 23:00hrs in Nanjuwa village Chief Muwezwa Chiefdom in Itezhi Tezhi District Southern Province.

KUDOS TO UPND GOVERNMENT FOR IMPROVING THE EDUCATION SECTOR IN ZAMBIA - Hon Field Silwamba

Today, I wish to congratulate the UPND Government for the plans it has put in place in insuring that our country's Education sector is improved. I believe that by improving the Education system in Zambia we shall have the surest mean of having a successful Nation. Just recently, the Government of the Republic of Zambia announced the re-introduction of free Education from grader one(1) to grade twelve(12). And in addition, there is a promise of employing 30,000 more man power in the Education sector which will help improve our Education sector in Zambia.

I believe with the massive infrastructural development our country has experienced in the recent passed. The coming in of 30,000 teachers will help capture the challenge of shortages of teachers in most Government schools which will also help balance up the teacher pupil relation ratio.

This shall only became a possible reality when everyone of us join hands and work together for a common goal of diversestifying developmental programs our country may need.

Have a wonderful day all.

LUANSHYA BASED YOUTH FIELD SILWAMBA URGES ZAMBIAN YOUTHS TO SHIFT THERE ENERGY INTO ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND DON'T DEPEND ON GOVERNMENT REDEMPTION.

For immediate release
Wed,Feb 2,2022.

According to a statement and article produced by the Zambian Landscape today, Mr Silwamba wrote, "Depending on the Government to redeem you from finacial difficulties shouldn't be encouraged by youths especially during these times when Our Country is facing economical difficulties. I would urge the young people to shift there focus on setting up any possible business venture unlike infusing there focus and dependancy on the government.

I believe the Government has no capacity to sustain every citizens needs, therefore, a complete dependancy on government shouldn't be prioritised or encouraged by us the youth.

Nevertheless, Use your energy, talent, ideas or another God given potentialities to earn a living. Don't just stay there and wait for a miracle to came from the government. Realize, identify and use your potentialities and abilities to achieve your dreams. Make hay while the sun still shines, It's never to late to succeed".

Luanshya Mayor Mulenga chooses to pay retirees over new vehicle

Luanshya Mayor Charles Mulenga has suspended the purchase of two utility vehicles, one of them for his office in preference to paying the retirees terminal benefits.

The Luanshya Municipal Council has adopted a K120, 534,708:00 budget for 2022, which will be operationised after being approved by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.

Council Public Relations Manager Gideon Thole has confirmed that Mayor Mulenga’s ruling to suspend the purchase of two utility vehicles, one of them for his office in preference to paying the retirees terminal benefits, has been adopted by a full council meeting that adopted the 2022 budget.

“The special council meeting following a ruling by Mayor Mulenga resolved to suspend the purchase of two utility vehicles to divert the cash meant to purchase the mayoral vehicle to increase the allocation for the payments of the retirees’ terminal benefits,” Mr. Thole said.

Meanwhile, Luanshya Town Clerk Timothy Mambalakata assured the Council Meeting that management was set to efficiently execute the payment of retirees' terminal benefits once the money was available.
