Today's Prayer.
In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Loving God, I place my trust and confidence in You, who will reward the good and punish the wicked.
I believe in You and believe in everything you have taught and revealed.
I believe that in one God there are three Divine Persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
I believe that God the Son became Man without ceasing to be God.
He is Jesus, my Lord and my Saviour, the redeemer of human race.
He died on the cross for our salvation and eternal happiness.
Heavenly Father, give me a strong faith, help me to believe with lively faith.
O my God, all good and all merciful,I sincerely hope to be saved, help me to do what is necessary to gain eternal salvation.
I have committed many sins in my life but now I turn away from them because I have offended You, my God, who are all good, all perfect, all holy and merciful.
I love You, O my God, with all my heart, please forgive me for having offended You.
I promise that with Your help I will never offend You again.
My God have mercy on me, through Christ, for ever and ever amen.

ST. GREGORY THE GREAT.....
"WHEN THE KING WAS BORN, THE HEAVEN KNEW THAT HE WAS 'GOD' BECAUSE THEY IMMEDIATELY SENT FORTH A STAR; THE SEA KNEW HIM BECAUSE IT ALLOWED HIM TO WALK UPON IT; THE EARTH KNEW HIM BECAUSE IT TREMBLED WHEN HE DIED; THE SUN KNEW HIM BECAUSE IT HIDE THE RAYS OF ITS LIGHT."

BE MODESTY; "humbling yourself, acknowledging that all of your successes, achievements, talents, or merits are not truly your own but gifts from GOD.
BE CHASTITY; "the submission of your physical desire to right reason."

16 MAY, 2022. Monday.
THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST: Theology of the Eucharist.
During the celebration of Mass, Christ is present in four ways. The constitution on the sacred liturgy explains that Christ is present in;
1. The liturgical assembly,
2. The proclaimed scripture,
3. The presiding priest and
4. The consecrated bread & wine.
The assembly, the scripture, the priest, and the bread and wine constitute the respective mediums through which the Holy Spirit conveys each of these modes of Christ's presence to us.
HAPPY WEEK TO ALL CATHOLICS.

HOLY THURSDAY.
Holy Thursday is the commemoration of the last super of Jesus Christ, when he instituted the Sacrament of the Holy Communion (Eucharist) prior to his arrest and crucifixion. It also commemorates his institution of the special priesthood for his disciples, which is distinct from the priesthood of all believers.
Holy Thursday stresses the importance Jesus puts on the need for cleansing with water, a symbol of baptism. Christ washed the feet of his disciples, who would become the first priests, which represent the service and charity of Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve.
On the night of Holy Thursday, Eucharistic Adoration of the blessed sacrament take place where the faithful remain in the presence of the Eucharist just as the disciples kept a vigil with Christ.

"RIVERS do not drink their own WATER, TREES do not eat their own FRUIT, THE SUN does not SHINE on itself, and FLOWERS do not spread their FRAGRANCE for themselves.
Living for others is a rule of nature. No matter how difficult it is....life is good when you are happy, but much better when others are happy because of you."

Saturday 17th Oct, 2020. (Week 28 in ordinary time) The Gospel according to Luke; 12:8-12
In the gospel Jesus gives a warning: "I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will acknowledge before angels of God. But whoever denies me before others will be denied before angels of God"
- Fear weakens our spirit and even leads us to deny God. When there is a threat of losing something important - job, health, loved ones or even one's own life - the temptation to deny God becomes real and strong. After all the first law of nature is self-preservation.
Jesus consistently exhort his disciples: "DO NOT BE AFRAID". Fear is one of the most potent weapon of the devil in making Suals timid which makes them more vulnerable and powerless.
The Trappist Monk and great spiritual writer, Thomas Merton, said, "Fear narrows the little entrance of it heart. It shrinks up our capacity to love. It freezes up our power to give ourselves."
Let's always acknowledge our Lord in our happiness, in times of difficulties, suffering, sickness, in all times.

Friday 16 October 2020, Gospel reading, week 28 in ordinary time.
(Lk 12:1-7)
In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
"Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
"Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.
"I tell you,my friends, do not dear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.
"But I will earn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!
"Are not give sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God.
"Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
