THE ONE
(long post ahead.....)

I will NOT go on a tangent to convince you that THE ONE exists, but I will tell you our story.

Scene 1:
Years ago God saw it fit for a certain student to get saved and used a young teacher to lead her to the Lord.

Scene 2:
I said NO to Kukeña (my wife) for a good 6years +/- and when I eventually agreed to date her it was a very calculated, thought through and unromantic. When I say ‘said NO’, I speak of how I somewhat deliberately avoided her and I being a couple as I just didn’t think she was ‘The One’.
So I actually gave her one last opportunity to walk away😂 She didn’t 🤦🏾‍♂️

Let me explain ‘THOUGHT THROUGH’:
I’d gotten to a place where I began to think of who to date/court, who I’d eventually settle down with, etc... and by all means I seemed to be trying to think ‘new options’: I was walking by sight as faith took a back seat together with my belief in ‘The One’ OR in God guiding me in who to settle down with (story for another day).

So when I came to her name on the list (very short list I must add), this is what stood out about her:
1. LOYALTY
2. FRIENDSHIP
3. DIFFERENCE

She had been a faithful friend that stuck by my side despite me being unwelcoming. Most times it’s like I hugged her with one hand whilst pushing her away with the other. She would pull back here and there, but SHE STAYED WITHIN THE YARD.
The thing though is she was DIFFERENT and I thought I needed someone that was more SIMILAR to me.

I’ve said before that I WALKED INTO LOVE as opposed FALLING in love with her and I’m glad I did.

Fast forward >> There I was, decided and focused that I wanted to do life with her. My heart had found safety.

Fast forward x2>>>>
Did I mention that the teacher is her mother and the student my mother?

God knew a certain woman needed to be saved to mother a Man of God.
God knew that a certain woman would secure her unborn daughter’s future by her act of kindness in showing her student Jesus.
God knew a certain Man of God would one day need a wife to do purpose with.
SO God SET IT UP!!

IF there’s no such thing as ‘The One’ THEN let’s agree that there might be some favoritism in heaven that favors certain people because such a SET UP is nothing but DIVINE🙏🏾

A call for young men.

If you are a young man aged 16 to 25 and need help navigating the daily challenges men encounter. Then this is for you.

is a community of men providing every man with the right resources and relationships to enable him to uncover his true identity, understand his purpose and equip him to successfully undertake his assignment.

The Undaunted Men Mentorship Program is aimed at helping men;
1. Understand their identity and purpose.
2. Maintain the disciplines needed to fulfill their purpose.
3. Develop into leaders their families, communities and nations need.
4. Build strong peer-to-peer relationships and
5. Become accountable to and for one another.

Objective
The goal for this program is to give men the opportunity to build meaningful relationships. Mentoring is a highly effective way to transfer knowledge, maximize learning time and increase confidence.

The Undaunted Men Mentorship Program will focus on the following areas:
1. Spiritual - Establishing and Maintaining a relationship with God.
2. Relational - Understanding and Building relationships with people.
3. Financial - Making and Managing money.
4. Emotional - Controlling and Expressing emotions.
5. Career - Increasing career opportunities.

It’s been said that “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”. Let’s take the first step together on the journey to become better men.

I’ll put in my 2cents,
As far as choice is concerned, God’s insight is far reaching. If God lined up all the ladies in this whole world for you to choose he knows 2 things;
1. He knows exactly who you would choose
2. He knows exactly who would best suit your life as pertains to all you will navigate through this life.
It is imperative to trust God for a partner because of his omnisciency. Also know when God is leading you. Know how God speaks to you. Be able to identify him ( it can be an inner voice, through his word, through situations, etc)
Herein lies the work and effort to build this ability to hear God and am not being spooky but my point being that if a relationship with God exists then hearing him is inevitable.
