I ain't famous yet buh my vision is beyond fame, I haven't been a fan of Zambian music for some years now, I preferred listening to US music over local music. I was even convinced that I'll only represent my country in an American accent rap style, buh then listening to Burna Boy and Blxckie inspired me to start making music in my local language.
Burna boy's songs 'Jabele' and 'Glory' gave me the African good vibe feel, Blxckie's verse on the 'Sete' song done by K.O, showed me that you can seamlessly flex your African language like its black American English...
Sampa The Great's 'Never Forget' song reminded me not to forget.
My aim has always been to share my vision of peace through music and to do it in a way that will reach out to millions of lives. English is now the world diplomat language which makes it the suitable language to share a global vision. Am still searching for a way to represent my origin while telling my vision of peace in a most understood way.
