Late bishop's family seeks help to care for hundreds of his orphans

THE family of Zion Church bishop Milius Simutwe of Choma, who died, leaving 32 wives, 420 children and 1, 300 grandchildren, is appealing for assistance from government and well-wishers to fend for them.

Bishop Simutwe, 68, is said to have possessed a gift of healing people spiritually and he had branches in Choma, Kalomo, Zimba and Livingstone.

His farmer in Choma houses over 700 people, with some church members opting to camp there (at the farm house) pending healing or seeking financial help.

A family administrator, who is also Bishop Simutwe’s second born son, Tatinai Simutwe, said in an interview yesterday that the household needs support because 16 wives have children under the age of three months.

“Some of the wives are pregnant and we have many church members living with us who were depending on my father for survival,” said Tatinai.

My father was a strong man and he managed to take care of everyone very well. I can say I will try my best to take care of the family, but it is too big. So, I need support.”

PF Tribalist Chishimba Kambwili has maintained that he will continue telling people around the country that Tongas are useless. He says he is not ashamed doing that because he is preventing Zambia from being governed by a Tonga President.

Speaking this afternoon after ECZ lifted his suspension, Kambwili said he is very thankful to the Commission for lifting his suspension for it was built on sand foundation. He however, maintained his stance that Tongas are tribal and should not be given an opportunity to govern this country.

"If it means to divide this country I will do so just to make sure that my brother Hichilema loses this fourthcoming General Elections" He lamented.

He cited the Buumba Malambo incidence in which she was misconstrued and labeled as inciting tribalism as a more reason why Zambians need to reject Tonga leaders.

"You see what I always say. Look at the young lady. Are those the kind of leaders you want to have. Zambians let's wake up and reject these people otherwise you'll regret having voted for them" Kambwili warned

Kambwili who has failed to come to terms with Edgar Lungu has been going round the country giving sermons full on nothing but hate speech built on tribal grounds.

Yesterday he boycotted KK's funeral procession and decided to stay home for he did not want to meet with Edgar Lungu face to face after many failed attempts to reconcile with the head of state.

We are left to wonder how the Commission can make such a decision barely two weeks after they decided to suspend him for his tribal campaign trail around the country.

KAMBWILI THREATENS TO COMMIT SU***DE IF HH WINS

"I would rather die than rot in jail"

Self Appointed President Lungu's Campaign Manager Chishimba Kambwili has said if president Hakainde Hichilema wins this fourth coming general elections he would rather commit su***de than going to jail.
Speaking in Lusaka at the PF Secretariate this morning, Dr Kambwili maintained that if HH wins he maybe in big trouble like never before, that's why he will do everything possible to make sure UPND loses.
"Some of us we will be in big trouble if HH wins elections, we will suffer more than hell especially myself, that's why if a miracle could happen he win this elections, it could be better for me to commit su***de than going to face hell in prison".

PF's prophet Ian Genesis maintains that the ruling Patriotic Front will win the 12th August polls.

The prophet said that he works with God and he will not change his prophecy. He has also advised Seer 1 to maintain his prophecy.

According to prophet Ian Genesis, Seer 1's prophecy is that the opposition UPND is winning the 12th August polls. But Ian Genesis is against this prophecy.

A TONGA WHO EDUCATED A NSENGA & EMPLOYED A BEMBA

My parents had three children. My elder brother and sister and myself a last born. Both my parents died in a car accident 😭 while I was still a baby at 2 years and by then our first born was 11, the second born was 7 and I was 2.

From then onwards, we started living with my grandparents in the village, in Sinda to be specific. My elder brother stopped going to school because our grandparents could not afford. Suddenly, when I was 8 years old we lost my sister. I was not a conscious self but as I grew up I was told she had Cerebral malaria and died from Petauke General Hospital where she had been going after having moved to live with relatives there.

By this time my brother was involved in buying and selling of maize business and managed to take me to school until grade 10. The dark cloud hit our family again, the only breadwinner who had been sponsoring me at Petauke Boarding High school died. I struggled into grade 11 without support and was fending for myself because my grandparents were too old. Those days were dark. I used clothing for my menstrual and mostly I could miss class because I did not have sanitary pads and I was ashamed. Eventually, I decided to go into prostitution to sustain my education and personal needs. This worked out but by the time I was grade 12 term two I became sick. I was found with Syphilis and I lost my body drastically and consequently I dropped out of grade 12. After recovery using traditional medicine I vowed never to take myself to prostitution.

I registered myself in an NGO program where they were training people to offer education teaching to community school. After being successfully picked and working at one community school, we were visited by Mr. Hakainde Hichilema and his team when they were campaigning. That day, he pledged to build three classrooms for the school and he did. I was hosting them representing our then head the late Mr. Chisomo Phiri of the school.

He asked me:

Are you a teacher by profession, to which I answered not really. I went to explain my brief story. As I gave few details, he inquired more and that's how he knew my background.

Mr. Hichilema asked one of his people a Mr. Sitali based in Sinda to make arrangements for me to be in contact so that he can help. My prayer was answered. I remember vividly smiling while tears rolling down my eyes. Later that week I lost my grandma who was too old. I went to see Mr. Sitali and funeral arrangements where eased.

To cut the long story short, I was enrolled into GCE. I obtained 9 points. I was sponsored to go and study Nursing in Mufulira and I made it. I was sponsored to go and study Masters Degree in Science and Biology in China and I made it. Yes am not employed yet but I had an opportunity of getting education. Today I can fend for myself without being a pr******te and am happily married to a Bemba man. The person who made this possible is Mr. Hichilema. I come from the east. Both my parents came from there. I am at pains when I hear the discussion of tribalism that has taken over our society. The person who had been demonized in the past as a tribalist is responsible for the education of a non Tonga. By the way, my husband is a manager at Mr. Hichilema's farm and he is Bemba. Where is tribalism?

*PF & MLEWA NOW DEFACING HAIMBE'S POSTERS IN LUSAKA CENTRAL*

We want to set the record straight on the defacing of posters in Lusaka Central Constituency.

We have read the recent posts on Facebook by Lusaka Central Independent candidate Msaiwale Mlewa, in which he goes on a scathing attack against the front runner in that race, Mulambo Haimbe of the UPND.

We have taken keen interest in this issue as it is obvious when it is looked at with a critical eye that Mlewa is acting for political expedience in order to try and gain a sympathy vote against his strongest opponent.

It also appears that the whole charade is an elaborate scheme in which Mlewa is working with the PF to malign the UPND candidate as the bulk of his allegations against Haimbe are based on speculation.

As for the issue of posters in particular our investigations have shown that by and large, except in Lake/Mwapona Road in the Woodlands/Ibex Hill stretch where all the candidates seem to be involved in defacing one another's posters and where Mlewa got the pictures he is touting to the public, his posters remain intact throughout the remainder of the constituency. This can be seen from the attached photos.

On the other hand, Haimbe's posters are the target of removal and covering mercilessly by the PF. Strangely, the PF do not touch Mlewa's posters. This could only be because of a number of things; either:

1. He is not seen as a factor in the election.
2. He is working with the PF to sabotage Haimbe's chances or
3. Both of the foregoing. Whatever the case may be, it is simply not true that Haimbe is responsible for removing or defacing 10,000 of Mlewas posters as he alleges.

That is Malicious political talk in our view. In fact Mlewa is himself guilty of covering Haimbe's posters in the notorious Lake/Mwapona Road area as the photographs shown. Haimbe is the victim and not a villain contrary to the desperate attempt by Mlewa and his PF colleagues at "The Candidates" online publication. We remain.

Choma Zion pastor dies, leaves behind 520 children and 32 wives

A PASTOR of the Zion Church in Choma district has died, leaving behind about 520 children from 32 wives, a close relative has told Byta FM exclusively.

Kebby Mutetete disclosed that his brother-in-law only identified as Bishop Simutwe, aged 68 also boasts of more than 1, 300 grandchildren to his name.

Mutetete says the late Zion pastor (in picture) had a total of 47 wives, but the number had dwindled down to 32 at the time of his death.

While some known energetic man struggle to satisfy his wife and side chic, it is believed Simutwe would manage to attend to more than ten of his wives in a single day, giving him an army of over 500 children during his lifetime.

Like clients taking turns to meet their doctor, Simutwe would tell the last woman to signal the next one to enter in an apartment for some timed mouth watering love making session.

Mutetete says the late Bishop was put to rest in Siankope village of Choma district along the Masuku road.

He has since thanked the church for contributing for his burial and buying him a casket worth K28, 000.
