THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE, WE ARE BACK ON-AIR IN MONZE AND MAZABUKA -- MWIINGA
Byta FM Radio Station has regretted the inconvenience caused on the listener and the business community following days of interruption in transmission to Monze and Mazabuka districts.
The radio station returned to the airwaves Wednesday afternoon after three days off-air due to a technical fault on the link equipment that sends signal to the districts.
Byta FM Station Manager, Albert Mwiinga has thanked listeners and clients for their patience since the radio signal went off at the two transmission stations on Sunday.
"...we wish to thank our esteemed listeners and clients for the endurance and tolerance since Sunday morning September 19th 2021 to today this afternoon the time the radio station was off air in Monze and Mazabuka. This was due to a technical problem on our link equipment that sends signal to the two transmission stations in the two towns," he stated.
Mwiinga says the station worked round the clock to restore the signal.
He has since committed to reducing or better avoiding all future interruptions by investing more in state of the art equipment.
Mwiinga has further thanked the listenership for their unyielding support exhibited through calls in the three days to find out the cause of the interruption .
Byta FM Radio is headquartered in Choma, but also has transmission stations in Monze and Mazabuka in its continued efforts to extend broadcast services to the entire Southern Province.
