A lot of people are going through rough time out there, please a little time to aske what is bothering them will help and kindness
I want to address those who make memes or jokes at the expense of others, all in the name of gaining attention, followers, or clout.
It’s dangerous to make fun of people, no matter who they are. Words and actions carry weight, and sometimes, that weight is unbearable for the person on the receiving end.
Today, my cousin took her life. She was called names, ridiculed, and shamed for who she was. Before she left, she sent messages to her dad and posted screenshots with today’s date. I saw her story too late. I couldn’t even reach out in time to try to help her.
This has to stop. We must stop tearing others down for a laugh or for likes. It’s time we treat each other with kindness, regardless of our differences—whether in background, beliefs, or physical traits.
Let’s choose love over hate. Let’s build each other up instead of breaking each other down. You never know how much someone is silently struggling.
Please, think before you post. A joke to you could be a breaking point for someone else.
Look at a young lady who took her life yesterday; cause of heartless people who wants to judge others and speak ill of them.

FORMER ZAMBIAN PRESIDENT EDGAR LUNGU CANNOT STAND IN FUTURE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS,THE COUNTRY’S CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HAS RULED:

Former president Edgar Lungu cannot run for another term of office or any future presidential election, Zambia's Constitutional Court ruled on Tuesday, closing the door on his planned challenge to incumbent Hakainde Hichilema in 2026.

Lungu had argued one of his stints in office did not count towards the maximum allowed, but youth activist Michelo Chizombe succeeded in convincing the court otherwise.

"A person who has twice held office and been elected cannot serve another term," declared Justice Arnold Mweetwa Shilimi, the deputy president of the Constitutional Court.

"Our combined interpretation of the constitution is that the respondent’s term of office from 25 January 2015 to 13 September 2016 constituted a term of office." That makes Lungu's elected stint from 2016 to 2021 his second and final allowed under Zambian law.

Lungu assumed office after the death of Michael Sata in October 2014. Since he had been properly installed as such, Chizombe argued, it did not matter that his succession was not via a vote.

Ahead of the trial, Lungu accused Hichilema of using the law to avoid a showdown with him at the polls, decrying "cowardly and dirty political schemes" to bar him.

The Constitutional Court was initially seen as sympathetic to Lungu, who had appointed six of its eleven judges. Hichilema removed three of those – all of whom had ruled against Hichilema when he challenged Lungu's previous victory.

RAINFORD KALABA DIES AGED 37

FORMER Chipolopolo midfield maestro Rainford 'Master' Kalaba has died aged 37 after suffering from severe fractures and concussion.

Kalaba was on Saturday morning involved in a ghastly accident along Kafue Lusaka road.

The former nimble footed player was then evacuated to the University Teaching Hospital ICU where he succumbed to death.

May His Soul Rest in Peace 🕊
