WANYEKA MUNZI - ZIMBABWE'S LOSING MP DISMANTLES HIS BOREHOLE TO PUNISH CONSTITUENTS 🇿🇼

ZANUPF MP candidate for Zimbabwe's ruling party Chinhoyi Thomas Chidzomba locked the borehole he drilled for his constituents after losing his parliamentary seat to opposition CCC’s Leslie Mhangwa.
As if that was not enough, he came back after some thought and dismantled the equipment for the borehole. It is believed he did so to punish to constituents who voted for his rival.

PASTOR FUMES AND ASSAULTS HIS FELLOW PASTOR FOR ADVISING HIM TO STOP HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH A CHURCH MEMBER

Police at Central Police Station in Lusaka yesterday August 02, 2023 at 16: 00 hours detained Apostle Christopher K***a aged 45 of Plot number 168 Chalala, the Church Leader for Presence of God Life Ministries International for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (OABH).

The incident occurred on July 31, 2023 around 22:30 hours at Society Business Park between Cairo Road and Cha-Cha Cha Road.

He is alleged to have assaulted Reverend Nelson Mhango, aged 62 of House Number 4199B Matero, who is a member of Bumper Harvest Church.

The duo differed after the complainant had advised the suspect against him allegedly having a love affair with a female member of his Church.

This was after the wife of the accused had invited Reverend Nelson Mhango to counsel the couple in Chilenje and on their way taking him back to Matero they made a stopover to buy some food.

It was at that point that Reverend Mhango was assaulted by way of being punched after he had continued advising Apostle K***a not to be having a love affair with a female member of his church.

The suspect has been formally arrested and charged today for the offence of Assault OABH. He has been released on Police bond and will appear in court soon.

NEWS: FORMER DEPUTY IG FOUND WITH A CASE TO ANSWER

LUSAKA chief resident magistrate Davies Chibwili has found former deputy Inspector General of Police Charity Katanga with a case to answer in a matter she is accused possession of property reasonably suspected of being proceeds of crime.

Ms Katanga is accused of possession of 10 Higer buses, all together valued at K26,282,770, which are suspected to hbe proceeds of crime.

NALI WILL STILL BE IN NEW ZEALAND - MINISTER.

Good afternoon fellow citizens;

Following your concerns regarding the Zambia Women's National Team GoalKeeper Hazel Natasha Nali. We wish to inform the nation that the Government through our Ministry today had engaged the Zambia Football Governing Body FAZ and the following resolutions have been made.

1. We have agreed with the Football Association of Zambia FAZ to allow the player to stay at the Women's World Cup tournament.

2. The Government through our Ministry will, however, take full responsibility for the player's stay now and during the tournament, among other things.

3. Regarding the player's injury, we have asked the Football Association of Zambia to find where the player can undergo the treatment of her knee injury, and we are happy to report that FAZ had earlier engaged a medical institution that would treat the player in New Zealand and they were told that the player can only be treated in a couple of weeks ahead.

Meanwhile, the Football Association of Zambia later informed us of an alternative which is India, and we agreed that the player be taken to the named country for her medical treatment, thereafter, she would be flying back to New Zealand where she will join the rest of the team.

NALI OUT OF WORLD CUP FINAL SQUAD DUE TO INJURY

THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) wishes to inform its members and stakeholders that the Zambia Women National Team first choice goalkeeper Hazel Nali’s FIFA World Cup journey has come to an end due to injury.
FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga says Nali who sustained a left knee injury in the period preceding the July 7 international friendly match with Germany in Furth underwent a medical check-up in Germany and New Zealand which has ruled her out of the tournament.
“A preliminary examination was done in Germany which led to the player missing the friendly match with an MRI done in New Zealand ruling out the player for the rest of the tournament. Our medics in liaison with the FIFA Medical Committee have informed us that Nali suffered laxity in the Medial Collateral Ligament and a complete tear of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL),” says Kamanga.
“The ACL is pivotal in the support system of the knee and the medics have recommended that it will take a minimum of six months to repair it so that she slowly returns to training depending on how she heals.”
Kamanga says the player will head back home where she is expected to undergo treatment and rehabilitation.
“In the meantime, the player will be leaving camp for treatment and rehabilitation back home. The technical bench has since advised on the replacement in the goalkeeping department,” he says.
Zambia plays Japan on July 22 at the Waikato Stadium in Hamilton with the second match coming up four days later in Auckland against Spain at Eden Park Stadium. The final group match is against Costa Rica on July 31 at Waikato Stadium.
The 2022 WAFCON bronze medallists have since settled in Hamilton which is their tournament base.
