Today, the Minister of Education, Hon Douglas Syakalima, MP announced to the public the 2022 Grade 7 and 9 Examination results.
GRADE SEVEN (7)
+ Candidates Entered: 493,932 (Girls 255,825, Boys 238,107)
+ Actual Sat: 449,538 (Girls 233,189, Boys 216,349)
+ Absent: 44,393 (8.99% Compared to 10.59% in 2021)
+ Out of 449,538: 64,008 DIV ONE, 121,490 DIV TWO, 96,356 DIV THREE, 167,684 DIV FOUR
+ Progression: 100%
Note: 100% progression at this level has been scrapped off with effect from 2023 examinations as announced by the Minister of Education.
JSSLE (GRADE 9)
Candidates Entered: 307,301 (Girls 159,932, Boys 147,366 )
+ Actual Sat: 284,880 (Girls 148,293. Boys 136,587)
+ Absent: 22,421 (7.30% from 7.98 in 2021)
+ Out of 284,880: 154,304 CERTIFICATES, 104,010 STATEMENTS
