breaking ceremonmy on Sunday, that the company wishes to promote the local area and work hand
in hand with Zambians to develop the country's economic outlook.

*A MUFULIRA 85 YEAR OLD MAN DIES IN A HOUSE FIRE*.

A Kalukanya 85 year old Man Edwin Katongo of House number (1717) in Mufulira District on the copperbelt has died after his house caught fire around 22:00hrs last evening
According to an eye witness Mr.Partrick Kaluba of House number (1719) Kalukanya who spoke to YOURS FM News team narrated that around 22:00hrs after he heard Grandson the grandson to the deceased, shouting about the fire, he rushed to the scene where he learnt that Mr Katongo was still trapped inside.
Mr Kaluba says after some efforts to put out the fire with the help of othe neighbours, he managed to get inside and found the deceased lying down in the bathroom, leading him to administer some first aid, but unfortunately the victim was unconscious.
The eye witness revealed that, he then decided to rush the victim to Kamuchanga District hospital where Mr Katongo was pronounced dead by medical professioners.
Mr.Kaluba told YOURS FM NEWS Team that, the fire is believed to have started when a candle he was using to study due to power outages, burnt out with flames catching furniture after he had dozed off in the living room.
The body of the deceased, Edwin Katongo, who is reported to be in his 80’s has since been deposited to Kamuchanga District Hospital Mortuary.
Police are yet to comment on the matter.
