Mpika has for the second time in a month, been recognized by Local Government Minister for Hon Francis Robert Kapyanga's commitment to effective and creative utilization of constituency development funds, improving lives and infrastructure!

Despite the progress Mpika has made, MP has continued speaking loudly for his people to achieve the various outstanding needs.

MUKUNGULE SMALL PIPED WATER SCHEME PROJECT COMPLETED

I am pleased to announce the successful completion of the Mukungule Small Piped Water Scheme, marking the installation of the sixth such project in our constituency.

The Mukungule Small Piped Water Scheme is a vital addition to our community, providing access to clean and safe drinking water for the residents of Mukungule and surrounding areas.

This accomplishment follows the successful installation of similar projects in Kaole, Malambwa, Mufubushi, Kapoko, and Chikwanda.

These projects were lobbied for from the central government and are a testament to our commitment to improving access to clean water for all our constituents.

Furthermore, I am pleased to announce that we are currently lobbying for an additional five small piped water schemes to further enhance water access in our constituency.

Together, we are making significant strides in improving the lives of the people in our constituency.

I have just established that the power outage being experienced beyond load shedding hours today, are not only in Mpika but Muchinga as a whole and some other provinces are affected too due to generation system instability that led to switching off from the national control centre.

I wonder why the ZESCO PR unit has not issued an official statement.

I am pleased to announce that the Ministry of Local Government has approved the construction of Chobela Clinic in Mukungule Chiefdom. The project, estimated at two million, two hundred and eighty-three thousand kwacha, marks a significant step towards improving healthcare accessibility in the area and will be funded by the 2024 CDF.

This clinic will serve as a vital healthcare hub for the residents of Chobela and the surrounding areas including Chilyaba, providing essential medical services closer to home. Currently, community members must travel up to 30 kilometers to access medical care, making this new clinic a crucial development for the local community.

Putting an end to this suffering of many has been a priority and we are happy to finally see it coming to pass.

We extend gratitude to the Ministry of Local Government for their support in this endeavor through the CDF, and we look forward to the positive impact this clinic will have on the health and well-being of our constituents.
