ZAMBIA BEING HEAT BY SHORTAGE OF MEN
This shortage of men is artificial it's caused by urban migration.
Ladies in town are finding it difficult to find a man to marry them because they abandoned their villages to go and stay with Uncle and brother who is living in town while living their petential husband in the villages.
We all know that early marriages is common in villages it's only the chiefs who complain about early marriages but town councils are complaining of shortage of men.
In villages it's difficult to find a beautiful woman between 20 and 30 years who is well behaved without being married that is a taboo there is a shortage of ladies that's the reason why people are forced to marry young girls because once you delay to marry her someone will marry her there is a saying Inga tosungi bowa mushokwe u can't keep mushroom in the bush.
In town there is a lot of ladies and they don't want to get married to a villager, men in urban are few and relaxed to marry because basimbi in town ngunanja where ever you look you will see a beautiful lady who is not married why should you rush.
You know one day I went to lsk with a guy from chief shezongo in itezh tezhi who was going for the first time in lsk we moved around Lusaka he was surprised to see alot of beautiful ladies who are not married when ladies from his village are scarce to find jokingly he told me that we can even bet if you take three hino trucks full to the capacity of these ladies in our village who are looking for marriage and are not married in 3 days time every one will have a potential husband to marry her if not married all.
Please my sisters in town try your village too instead of enjoying your life in lsk after it's too late you blaming your grand parents for not finding a husband.

JUST IN: OFFICE OF THE 6TH REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT, HIS EXCELLENCY EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU

Tuesday 7th June, 2022
The office of the Sixth Republican President, His Excellency Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, is dismayed with continued attempts to put his name in disrepute by use of false and alarming statements attributed to him in the media.

This is in response to a recent post trending on social media platforms, suggesting that Dr. Lungu is contemplating making a return to active politics.

However, the former Head of State has requested well meaning Zambians to be critical of every statement alleged to have been issued by him before reacting to it.

In the same article making rounds, it is said that the former President made the remarks in an interview he gave to a writer/ Reporter but with no clear details of the same interaction.
He has stated that neither himself nor his office has given any exclusive interviews to either local or international journalists.

Dr. Lungu has further reminded Zambians to play a role in uniting the nation and put aside politics in matters that may injure the nation irrevocably.

He has expressed concern over smear politics that has gone on for too long which he says has continued to divide the nation at the expense of building a better Zambia.

And the former Head of State has appealed to the media, especially social media platforms, to desist from being used as tools for political propaganda if they are to maintain public confidence in their works.

THE TRUTH MUST BE SAYED.
My opinion (Adrian)
Zambia is my country and being a Zambian makes me understand more about Zambians and their mentality towards working together or forming cooperatives.
In Tonga we say munwe omwe taupwayi njina mpoona bbelekela amwi mbobunyina because of understand these two saying our government is working had to unite us and make us form cooperatives so that it can be easier to locate and empower every one, through working together we can achieve something.
Zambian mentality
I have done a simple research I found that government have alot of work to make a Zambian understand that it's only through working together that our beautiful nation can develop, as Zambian we have the problem of trust issue and don't fear government money
Trust issue
Zambians will gather and have a good discussion about how good it is to work together and prove to Government that they can work together and archieve something but still don't mean it, they just to win a loan or grant they want to be given when deep inside their heart they can't work together what I mean is they are good in talking than doing what they talk and this problem is there even in church people will preach of what they can't do.
Zambians towards government money.
Zambians take government funding as free money nga samba tulye of which is the not case. It has been always tough for Zambian to pay back money they have been funded through government because they don't fear and respect grz policy, there are many grz funding which have become white elephants and I'm worried that the same may continue and affect the CDF funding.
Let's learn to work together as Zambian our government is always ready to help.

THE WORRIED ADRIAN
Gradually Zambian farmers are graduating from mono croping of maize to soya bean cropping this is due to the lower price of maize which is affecting the nation to the other side soya bean price is shooting like I don't know this will affect the national food security.
Maize
The increase in maize price will automatically increase the price of meale meal which is used to make nshima our staple food therefore government will always work torwad reduce the price of meale meal so that the cost of living is reduced but the farming in puts are going high every day making growing maize so expensive such that farmer find no profit in growing maize. Soon we will find our self as a country in a situation where farmers grow only enough maize for there consumption and nothing to sell and that is the day government will realize that we needed to support the farmer by either increasing the price of maize or reducing the price of farming inputs because there will be no food for the nation.
Soya bean
A farmer prefers growing soyabean because it's cheaper to grow, soyabean is not a heavy feeder you can still harvest even when you didn't apply fertilizer and just spray boosters, the price of soya bean is high such that in 100 bags of soyabean bean you can make k50 pin while in the same bags of maize you make k15 pin so it's better for a farmer to grow soyabean instead of maize for you to be rich
I'm not a prophet but I for see shortage of maize in Zambia some years to come if the current situation continue.
