THE SPIRIT OF LUST!!!!!!
It has killed many great men. It has destroyed good marriages. It has destroyed Kings and queens and yet the body of Christ isn't addressing it because even pastors and bishops are also victims. If you check the levels of adultery and fornication in the church today it's so high and now s*x before marriage seems normal, dating a married man or woman seems normal or having multiple s*xual partners seems normal. The church needs to wake up and deal with the spirit of lust because it has destroyed allot of things.
Asmodeus is the demon or spirit responsible for lust and every unruly emotional desires and behavior. Lust on the other hand is an intense s*xual desire towards the opposite s*x. Having a carnal knowledge of somebody that is not your wife is what lust signifies. Many people are unaware of the dangers and disasters they attract to themselves when they have uncontrolled s*xual desire towards someone that is not their life partner in marriage. Things happen to people in life that seems strange and terrible, mostly frustrating and seems to keep them on a spot for years, and they try everything to get out of it but nothing seems to be working out for them. It's time for people to realize that lust has spiritual implications and they are often very destructive, especially to the physical and eternal future of the person that is oppressed by it.

Here are 8 things lust does to your life:

1. It makes you go round the circle of life: Lust makes you work round time without achieving anything at all. You find yourself repeating certain actions that that should produce results for you but all to no avail.

2. It makes you unproductive: Lust is so bad that it makes you unproductive in whatever you do. Even if you get to see reaults, it surely won't be for long. Your most passionate ventures in life becomes frustrating and furtile. No matter how hard you try to make something out of life, it ends in tears.

3. It makes you lose focus: Lust is an expert focus and target destroyer. It makes you lose concentration on the most important things especially your relationship with God and man. You won't be able sit quietly until you gratify your lusful s*xual desire.

4. It makes the opposite s*x appear as instruments of pleasure for s*xual gratification: This is one of the most destructive aspect of lust because it makes you so worthless to the extent of visualizing the opposite s*x as s*xual objects. You know the bible says 'he who looks upon a woman lusfully commits adultery in his heart', so no matter how you try to defend or cover it, in the sight of God, you're a fornicator and adulterer. This aspect of lust keeps you from having a stable relationship with anyone, even if you finally get married, you will end up jumping from one person to another desiring s*xual gratification.

5. It makes the good things of life irritate you: Yes lust can make you lose your joy and peace and make everything around you appear disgusting and irritating to your sight. You won't be able to live around people of good interest. You will only seek satisfaction in worthless and mundane things.

6. It makes you despise yourself: The devil's aim in using the spirit of lust against you is to finally destroy you. Lust will make you hate yourself on the long-run and make you begin to contemplate su***de. It would make you think less of yourself thereby devaluing your best interests in life.

7. It destroys your fellowship with God and hinders your prayers: Lust is of the devil and whatever is of the devil is unacceptable to God. You will not be able maintain your fellowship with God and you won't be able to pray. Inasmuch as you can't pray freely anymore, even when you try, your prayers are hindered until you come out of that evil called lust.

8. It makes you an acute addict to po*******hy: The demon of lust makes you very addicted to po*******hy and make you feel you can't live without it. In the act of p**n is a life of frequent ma********on and this destroys your life entirely. It would ruin every sense of humor and vigor in you. It will make you insatiable by anyone who's married to you no matter how hard you try. Another thing is, p**n will fill you with fear of the unknown.

Nothing can resist so greatly, especially spiritually like the spirit or demon of lust, it limits you in everyway possible. You have a choice to make if you really want to break free from this evil spirit of lust. If you make a decision and run to God in repentance and seek His mercy you will be free from the oppression of this evil spirit. You could also seek godly counsel by talking in confidence to the spiritual head of your church, he will guide you on what to do.
