YO MAPS TO SUE ACC OVER SEIZED VEHICLE

Zambian musician, Elton Mulenga, popularly known as Yo Maps wants to commence legal action against the seizure of his motor vehicle, Toyota Landcruiser VX by the Anti - Corruption Commission-ACC.

In a demand letter to the commission, the singer through his lawyers from Nsapato and Company advocates has further given the commission an ultimatum of up to Friday December 22, 2023 to have his vehicle released.

He says the seizure of the motor vehicle has great ramification as he uses it for wedding bookings adding that the unreasonable and frivolous seizure of the said vehicle is an injustice that must be rectified.

Recently, the commission seized the singer’s vehicle for being an alleged proceed of crime.

MOST PARTS OF THE COUNTRY:

MORNINGS: Partly cloudy, slightly windy becoming mainly cloudy skies by late morning with isolated rainfall. Temperatures will be mild to warm, ranging between 15°C and 23°C.

AFTERNOONS: Expect mainly cloudy skies with windy conditions at times. Temperatures will be warm to hot, ranging from 25°C and 38°C with showers and thunderstorms.

NIGHT: Partly cloudy, slightly windy and warm to mild with isolated rain and thunder.

ADVISORY: Widespread rainfall is expected therefore farmers are advised to take advantage of the available rainfall to plant their crops while farmers whose crops have already geminated should closely monitor diseases and pests. Farmers are further advised to visit the agricultural and Meteorological offices in their respective areas for further advice as they plan their agricultural activities.

PERIOD: 15th to 18th December, 2023.

NORTHWESTERN, LUAPULA, COPPERBELT, WESTERN, SOUTHERN, LUSAKA AND CENTRAL PROVINCES:

MORNINGS: Partly cloudy skies, slightly windy with a chance of isolated rainfall. Temperatures will be mild to warm, ranging between 14°C and 22°C.

AFTERNOONS: Mainly cloudy skies with slightly windy conditions. Temperatures will be warm to hot, ranging between 25°C and 34°C. Showers and thunderstorms are expected.

NIGHT: Partly cloudy, slightly windy and warm to mild with isolated rain and occasional thunder.

ADVISORY: Rainfall activities to continue therefore, farmers are advised to take advantage of the soil moisture content for planting their crops. Those planning outdoor activities should be prepared for possible thundershowers accompanied with lightening and flash floods, take necessary precautions.

EASTERN, MUCHINGA AND NORTHEN PROVINCES:

MORNINGS: Mainly cloudy skies, slightly windy and isolated rainfall. Temperatures will be mild to warm, ranging between 16°C and 23°C.

AFTERNOONS: Partly cloudy skies with slightly windy conditions. Temperatures will be warm to hot, ranging between 27°C and 38°C with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

NIGHT: Partly cloudy, slightly windy and warm to mild with a chance of isolated rainfall.

ADVISORY: Reduced rainfall activities over the above provinces therefore farmers are advised to continue with planting and monitoring of diseases and pests for those that have already planted.
